We have taken our child to MCC since she was 6 months old, she is now 1. I can’t thank MCC educators, staff and management for making our child feel as though MCC is an extension of her own home. We appreciate the effort taken to ensure all child’s needs are attempted to be met. I thank the facility for providing services to cater to children’s need’s and requirement's. The standard of communication it’s efficient and effective. As new parents we were nervous and hesitant on what our child’s experience would be like. But it didn’t take long before our child turned a corner and started to become smiley and giggly every time I pull up out the front. My children attended MCC between 2019 and 2023 and we loved it. The environment is fantastic and my children always enjoyed attending. The educators are friendly and formed secure connections with the kids, which made drop offs easier. The food is cooked fresh daily and was always fantastic quality, with a menu that my kids would always eat. I cannot rate them highly enough and highly recommend the centre to new families!

Our kids absolutely love it here. The educators are great, providing a caring environment with guidance and calm. The grounds and rooms are clean and well maintained. The new furniture in the rooms is a great asset to the kids. The food from the onsite chef is fresh and healthy with good food rotation. We work at Monash so it was an easy choice to send the kids here.
Monash Children’s Centre (Clayton) has proudly supported children and families since 1967. As a not for profit, community focused service, we provide high quality education and care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, with a strong commitment to nurturing a genuine sense of belonging for every child and family.
Located on the Monash University Clayton campus, our centre operates in close partnership with the University, supporting staff and students to balance work, study, and family life. While priority is offered to Monash families, we warmly welcome enquiries from the broader community when places are available.
We are a 109 place long day care service offering funded, approved 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten programs, including access to the Free Kinder initiative for eligible families.
Our consitent Exceeding National Quality Standard rating reflects our dedication to excellence. We achieve this through high educator to child ratios, strong and respectful relationships, and a play based program grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework. Children benefit from regular excursions across the university campus, rich sustainability and reconciliation initiatives, and thoughtfully designed learning programs and environments.
Our dedicated on site cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily using high quality ingredients, with a focus on whole foods and minimal preservatives. Menus reflect children’s dietary needs, cultural preferences, and family values. We maintain robust child safe practices, including thorough staff screening, ongoing training, and a strong culture of accountability, ensuring children feel safe, secure, and supported to thrive.
