This is truly a 5 star centre, all the educators are very passionate about their jobs, the centre is very much in order and our child loves going here. A big thank you to the Avenues McDowall team!

It was been an joy having my daughter at Avenues McDowell. For the past two years this amazing centre has cared for and supported my little girl in every way possible. I can't say enough good things about all the staff, they genuinely care about the children in their care and their families. I cannot recommend Avenues enough, they have my complete trust and it'll be a very sad when we finish up to begin our Prep journey.

About Avenues Early Learning Centre - McDowall

Welcome to our beautiful Centre Avenues McDowall. We have been a part of the Avenues team for 5 years now, where we have been growing in leaps and bounds ever since. Our centre is located in a quiet street of McDowall, next to a creek and bushland. We are often referred to as a little hidden gem by our families, and visitors who provide extra curricular experiences or speciality shows to enhance our children’s knowledge. We pride ourselves on our homely environment that creates a cosy and nurturing feel for the children, families and educators.

Our educators are passionate and flexible in their programming to cater for the ever changing needs, interests and developmental needs of our children and families. Our educators have recently partaken in a course "Circles of Security" which has helped to strengthen our already 'exceeding rating' of our values, beliefs and personal philosophies. This provides the children in our care with the emotional support to develop a secure attachment by understanding that behaviour is a language and builds resilience, which enhances the important skills they need in life. We believe our children are little researchers in their own right, where we ensure our indoor and outdoor environment acts as a third educator to promote open, investigative, social and safe risk play.

Our Kindergarten children’s education follows the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Framework along with Avenues unique and extensive Literacy and Numeracy Program, that specialises in learning experiences through play to ensure the children’s development is school ready.

Children of today now have an important role to play in caring for the furture of our land. Our educators are continously embedding sustainable and recycling practices within the childrens every day routines. Instilling and educating them in this area will enhance their capabilities to grow into thoughtful human beings caring for our planet..

Please feel free to drop into our centre to see us in action. We would love to meet you.
