June has been so amazing with our son, so accommodating to his needs and he absolutely loves her. She is like family to us. We are going to miss June next year when he goes to school full time but will be back later in the year with our little girl when I need to return to work.

June is a wonderful, kind and trustworthy lady. This was the first and only day care my son has been excited to attend. He would even say to me "come on mum we are going to be late for miss June's". He has progressed so much since attending. June's patience and kindness has rubbed off on my son. Welcome to mindarie family daycare.
My business was built on the concept of offering children and their families a service that is based on the individual needs of a small group of children. I am able to provide a more personal approach to daycare for each child. One of the biggest advantages of only being part of a small group is that I quickly get to know " your child's " individual personality " Which means I can easily cater the days activities around their needs, likes and interests. Each day I set up wonderful learning experiences based on the ELYF ( early years learning framework ) I refer to this daily when programming and analysing outcomes. I provide outings, equipment and activities that are both fun and educational. They are relevant to each child's stage of development and educational needs, adapting the activities on offer depending on age and ability.
I am extremely passionate about the work I do, having worked in early years education for over 24 years. Family daycare is my ideal chosen career. It has given me the opportunity to meet amazing children and their families. At the end of each day I feel I have truly made a difference. Parents can go to work and enjoy their day, safe in the knowledge that their child is being taken good care of in a nurturing environment that caters for all their individual needs.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
As part of my service I offer a more personal approach to before and after school care for children in the year groups pre- primary to year 3.
I carefully tailor a program of activities that individually suit the needs and interests of each school age child. I work closely with parents to provide the best outcomes for the children in my care. Together we can decide what is in the child's best interests with regards to how children spend their time, before and after school. I provide a nurturing, well resourced environment. I also provide a quiet place for young children to rest and recuperate after a busy day at school.
As part of my service I take the school age children right to the door of their classroom, and collect them from there at the end of the day. I always ensure the children are at school on time and are collected on time at the end of the school day. I can pass on information from parent to teacher and vice versa when required.
Each afternoon I provide a nutritional snack for the children, to help them participate in the afternoon activities.
