Here at Active Kids, Laidley 1, we pride ourselves in supplying care that is fun filled each day. We ensure children feel happy, safe and secure while they are here as they participate in our play based educational programs. We have large grassed playgrounds, bike track, sandpits, a waterpark and more. Our centre cook prepares nutritious and delicious meals daily on site for all our children and staff. We are proud to say that our beautiful Centre has created many a childhood memory for thousands of children in the Laidley/ Lockyer Community over the last 13 years of operation.

We are very active in the Laidley community. Our children regularly visit the Nursing home across the street from us, our community Library, assorted stores and shops and other services around Laidley. We believe it’s essential for children to develop these community connections from a young age to enhance their sense of belonging as they grow. We also bring visitors to our centre to provide in house incursions including the dentist, local Ambulance, Fire brigade and Police. We also work with Kambu and our Indigenous Elders who also visit the centre throughout the year to share their culture; reading stories, creating art and engaging in dance with the children.

Our team of wonderful Qualified Educators are passionate about providing amazing play-based experiences daily.
