As a father, I find it very difficult to write this review because we initially had a good level of trust in the centre and genuinely believed that our child was being cared for safely.<br><br>Unfortunately, that trust has now been lost.Our child suffered a serious lip injury at the centre, resulting in a through-and-through lip laceration that required surgery at Perth Children Hospital. It was an extremely frightening experience for our family.<br><br>After our child recovered, we decided to give the centre another chance. Sadly, approximately six weeks later, our child suffered another significant cut to the lip while attending the centre.<br><br>For us as parents, having two similar injuries happen within such a short period of time was extremely concerning. We raised our concerns with the centre and later on the Education and Care Regulatory Unit (ECRU) also got involved. ECRU subsequently investigated the matter and has now advised us that the investigation has been completed.<br><br>I understand that the details of the investigation are confidential, so I won't speculate about the outcome.<br><br>But as parents, we have to put our child's safety first. After everything that happened, we made the difficult decision to move our child to another childcare centre.<br><br>I sincerely hope Bloom takes child safety, supervision and risk management very seriously going forward. I also hope no other family has to go through the level of worry and distress that we experienced.

Hands down, the best place I have ever trusted my daughter with! ❤️ She has been at Bloom for more than 2 years, and Bec and her amazing team truly go above and beyond every single day.<br>We had tried a couple of places before finding Bloom, and I can honestly say choosing Bloom was the best decision we ever made. We had such a wonderful experience with Bloom Bennett Springs, particularly with Ebony and Irene, who cared for our son.<br><br>As first-time parents, putting our son into care while I returned to work was a huge transition, and they made it feel incredibly safe. We always felt that he was genuinely known and cared for as an individual, and their warmth, attentiveness and passion were evident every day.<br><br>Since moving away and experiencing other childcare settings, we’ve realised even more just how exceptional the standard of care they provided was. They truly set the benchmark for what we now look for in the people caring for our son.<br><br>We’ll always be incredibly grateful that his first experience of childcare was with Ebony and Irene. The centre is absolutely beautiful, with fantastic facilities, wonderful spaces for the children to learn and play, and an environment that feels safe, clean, welcoming and engaging.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Centre Manager Bec. Bec is absolutely amazing! She is approachable, caring, understanding and genuinely goes above and beyond for the children and families. You can see how much she cares about the centre, the educators and every child who walks through the doors. Having a manager who is so involved and supportive makes such a huge difference. ❤️<br><br>Every educator at Bloom deserves recognition too. They are all so caring, patient, nurturing and attentive. It is clear that they genuinely love what they do and take the time to get to know each child as an individual. The communication with families is fantastic, and it is such a comforting feeling knowing your child is being cared for by people who truly care about them.<br><br>The facilities are beautiful and there are so many opportunities for the children to learn, explore, create and have fun. I honestly couldn’t recommend Bloom Early Education Bennett Springs highly enough. Both of my children, aged 2 and 3, have been attending Bloom for over a year now, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a beautiful centre for them.<br><br>Every single educator we have met is genuinely wonderful. You can tell that they don’t just work with children because it’s their job — they truly love and care about the children they look after. The warmth, patience and affection they show my babies every day means more to me as a mum than I could ever put into words.<br><br>Both of my kids absolutely love coming to Bloom. They get excited to see their educators and their little friends, and every morning they are welcomed with the biggest cuddles. Seeing them happily say goodbye to me without hesitation because they feel so safe, loved and comfortable there gives me such peace of mind.<br><br>Leaving your children in someone else’s care is such a huge thing as a parent, but I can genuinely say that I have complete trust in the educators at Bloom. I know that while I’m not there, my children are being loved, comforted, encouraged and cared for as individuals.<br><br>What I love most is that Bloom is so much more than somewhere that simply “looks after” my children. Their educators teach them, encourage their independence, celebrate their achievements, help them build friendships and confidence, and give them so many opportunities to learn, explore and grow. I have watched both of my children develop so much during their time here, and I know their educators have played such a special part in that.<br><br>I honestly couldn’t ask for better people to care for my babies during these incredibly important years of their lives. We are very disappointed with our experience at this centre.<br><br>Within approximately six weeks, our child suffered two significant falls while attending the centre. Both incidents occurred at around 4:30 pm, and both resulted in injuries to almost the same area of his lower lip.<br><br>The first incident was particularly serious. Our child was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital and required surgery under general anaesthetic to repair a deep through-and-through laceration involving multiple layers of his lower lip. We were advised that the injury and resulting scar could take approximately 6–12 months to recover.<br><br>At the time, we chose to trust the centre. We understood that accidents can happen with young children, particularly after our child had recently transitioned into the Kindy room. We therefore did not pursue the matter further, believing that the centre would review what had happened and take reasonable steps to reduce the likelihood of a similar incident happening again.<br><br>Unfortunately, just over six weeks later, our child suffered another significant injury, again at around 4:30 pm and involving almost the same area of his lower lip.<br><br>What was most concerning to us was what we learned when we subsequently asked what had been done after the first serious injury. We were told that no internal investigation, formal environmental risk assessment or documented corrective action had been undertaken, because the first incident had been considered “purely an accident”.<br><br>We understand that not every accident can be prevented. Our concern is not simply that our child fell. Our concern is whether, after a serious injury requiring surgery, the circumstances were properly reviewed and whether reasonable measures were considered to reduce the risk of a similar incident happening again.<br><br>Two serious injuries involving the same child, occurring in a similar area and at almost exactly the same time of day within approximately six weeks, have significantly affected our confidence in the centre’s approach to supervision, safety and risk management.<br><br>The physical injuries have been difficult for our child, but the emotional and practical impact on our entire family has also been significant. We have had to manage hospital treatment, follow-up medical care, time away from work and changes to our child’s attendance while caring for our young family.<br><br>We have now lost confidence in the centre’s ability to provide the level of safety and risk management we expect for our child.<br><br>We sincerely hope the centre reflects on these incidents and makes meaningful improvements to its supervision, environmental safety and incident-review processes. No child or family should have to go through a similar experience.

I am incredibly happy with the care my daughter is receiving at Bloom. I was really nervous about having to send her to daycare at just 10 months and I toured quite a few centres before choosing Bloom. I recommend taking advantage of their unlimited orientation sessions to get your child familiar with the centre and to get to know the educators yourself. It certainly helped me feel more comfortable when the time came to leave her there for the first time.<br><br>Two months on my baby girl has settled in really well and has definitely bonded with the educators. The centre is clean and organised and my baby enjoys the sensory activities they offer, but for me the most important thing was her bonding and feeling safe and secure with the educators.<br><br>Finally I have to say that the staff also went above and beyond to get my daughter eating when she was refusing to take a bottle or eat her lunch. They syringe fed her my expressed breast milk and ordered the yogurt pouches she has at home to make sure she was eating something. She is now eating better at daycare than she does at home and I am asking the chef for their recipes!

We're absolutely delighted with Bloom Bennett Springs! The staff are warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the kids' well-being. Our child has thrived and had an amazing time. The activities are engaging, and the facility is clean and safe. We feel confident leaving our child in their care. Highly recommend Bloom to anyone looking for top-notch childcare! 😊❤️
