G’day, my name is Libby from Libby's House Family Day Care.

I offer education and care for pre-school aged children from 8:30am-4:30pm Mondays to Wednesdays with some flexibility offered to booked hours as agreed. Harcourt Kinder drop offs and pickups are available. Please bring along your child’s food and nappies for the day, the rest of the fun is included.

I have been working in the early childhood sector for 20 years in a variety of roles including kindergarten, long daycare, OSH care and supported playgroups. I have also worked in Family Daycare and am very excited to return to the role after moving to the gorgeous town of Harcourt and joining Foundations Family Daycare.

I hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood (2009) and believe that children thrive through play based learning and interacting with their natural environment and community. I believe it is important to give children ample of opportunity to explore and discover at their own pace so they can gain the most from every experience. I really enjoy sharing children’s wonder of the world around them, it really is a magical place when we take the time to see the world through children’s eyes.

I value the importance of excellent communication with families, after all parents are their child’s first teachers. I work hard on building strong respectful relationships with families to help me provide the best quality and education and care for your child.
