Kookaburras Room – 2–3 years

Literacy Room
Our dedicated literacy space provides opportunities for children to explore books, storytelling, early writing, sounds, words and language through small-group experiences and hands-on activities.

We also incorporate community experiences, celebrations, sustainable practices and special events into our program throughout the year.

Families provide a nutritious lunchbox for their child each day, allowing parents and carers to choose foods that are familiar and appropriate for their child's individual needs, preferences and dietary requirements.

Educators encourage positive mealtime experiences and support children to develop independence and healthy eating habits. Children are encouraged to sit together, enjoy social interactions and develop confidence around mealtimes.

We work closely with families to support individual dietary needs and allergies and ask families to keep educators informed of any specific requirements.
