A non for profit community based government funded preschool - our service embraces the uniqueness of our community.
Jesmond Community Preschool is a 2 unit preschool catering for 40 children each day. Children are aged between 3 years and 6 years of age. Our room names are KOOKABURRA ROOM and KOALA ROOM.
We operate 5 days per week, 8.00 am until 3.30pm. We are closed public holidays and school holidays.
Located within Heaton Public School, entry via Callaghan Campus in Janet Street, Jesmond.
We believe that all children have the right to a high quality childhood including regular access to nature and the right to play.
We recognise each child as an individual, we value their personalities, learning styles and interests and beliefs, as competent and capable individuals, they have the right to develop skills and knowledge at their own pace with the support of skilled adults.
