Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

As the children move through the different rooms in the centre, the curriculum evolves with them. The educators set goals for the children and celebrate as they reach their milestones. At every stage, the educators are tailoring the curriculum and goals to each child’s individual needs.

The primarily child-directed, play-based curriculum ensures that the children are engaged in their learning. They are encouraged to take the lead, developing their negotiation, risk taking, problem solving and social skills. The educators observe the children and help to challenge them by extending their learning and interests.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.
Goodstart Early Learning employs qualified and skilled educators who are dedicated to making a difference to the children in their care. Hello, my name is Leisa Dzikov and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Keilor Village. I have worked within the early learning sector for over 22 years, 19 of which I have spent as a Centre Director for Goodstart. I currently hold my Diploma of Community Services.
As a parent of two children, I understand the importance of providing a sense of belonging to each individual child and look forward to building positive respectful relationships with you and your family.
Children are central to everything we do, and we demonstrate this by ensuring we put each child’s best interests first. I’m very passionate about providing high quality care for children and their families. I love seeing the children grow and develop through the first five years of their life which is so important.
My goal as a Centre Director is to deliver a high-quality learning program that allows children to reach their full potential. I’m also committed in providing a warm, comfortable, and relaxed environment where parents and children can feel a sense of belonging. I also believe that collaboration with families, educators and children provides the best opportunity for each child.

Our daughter has been attending Goodstart Keilor Village for around 3 years now. We have been incredibly happy with our experience. She is our third child to go through daycare, and the first to attend this centre. We have been so impressed with the team. The educators are truly beautiful people- kind, caring and genuinely invested in the children. The staff are always helpful and accommodating, especially when we’ve needed extra days. It’s been very rewarding watching our daughter’s development over the years in such a supportive environment. My child was previously enrolled at this center, but I had to take my child out due to the behaviour of the staff. The staffSukhdeep Kaur lack proper etiquette and tend to raise voices frequently. I would not recommend this center based on this experience. The management needs to take action to ensure the staff's behavior does not tarnish the center's reputation and goodwill.
