Katoomba Leura Preschool is a wonderful environment for little ones to feel seen and heard. From my experience (three years now) the educators have a genuine care and interest in each child and take time to build a connection with them and their families. My two children have always enjoyed going and I can tell by the conversations they have with me they feel safe and valued in the preschool community.<br>Katoomba Leura Preschool has a community vibe that is something that as a family we like to see. Alison the Director has a wealth of knowledge and is so dedicated to her role, the staff and the children. Dianne the office guru keeps everything running smoothly and is wonderful at communicating with the families. Having a role, Educational Leader which talented and warm hearted Cat holds just shows how much Katoomba Leura Preschool values the staff and children.

I can't recommend KLPS highly enough. My son has attended other preschools and daycares and the contrast is stark. At KLPS, there is a kindness and care that is not as present at other centres. The staff look after the children with kindness and respect, understanding that children have their own wisdom and should be treated that way. Within the appropriate boundaries, children are free to play and express themselves the way they wish. The education is informed by the children's own curiosity, not clumsily shoved down their throats like I have seen in other centres. There is a strong emphasis on the environment and bush school, leading to children who are thoughtful and considerate of the natural setting in the Blue Mountains. I feel so confident sending my son here--this place has soul.

To my knowledge I have never interacted with this business, but this early childhood teacher decided to send me a threat. I wouldn’t send a child to a business where teachers behave like this. As for the business’s reply, in the Legislative Assembly Hansard – 09 November 2022 you can see Trish Doyle MP talking about Justine at this business. Lying isn’t a trait I’d want in a venue I sent my kids to either.

Lovely preschool. Highly recommend. Both my children attended. The carers are all so lovely with the kids. Excellent facility. You won't regret sending your children here !
