I am currently completing my placement in the Kinder room at Small Friends Childcare & Education, Glenroy, and it has been a really positive experience. I would especially like to thank my mentor teacher, Richa, for her guidance and support throughout my placement. She is very caring, professional and knowledgeable, and I can really see how much thought and effort she puts into supporting the children each day. She always takes the time to guide me, answer my questions and share her knowledge in early childhood education. I have learned so much from observing and working alongside her, and I am truly grateful for her guidance. A special thank you as well to Farah, the centre manager, for her warm welcome, support and great leadership in creating such a positive environment for children, families, educators and placement students. I truly appreciate the opportunity she has given me to learn and grow in such a professional and supportive centre. I would also like to thank the Kinder room team for being so kind and supportive. I felt comfortable and included during my time here, and I really appreciate everyone’s support. I highly recommend Small Friends Childcare & Education, Glenroy to families and placement students.

We feel incredibly grateful to have found this childcare centre for our daughter. She has now been attending for the past 9 months, and over this time we have consistently experienced an exceptional level of care, warmth, and professionalism from all the educators and staff. As parents, there is nothing more important than knowing your child is safe, happy, supported, and genuinely cared for — and this team goes above and beyond every single day. Our daughter absolutely loves attending, and it has been amazing to watch her confidence, social skills, independence, and learning grow in such a nurturing environment. The educators are kind, patient, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They treat every child with love and respect, creating a beautiful atmosphere where children can thrive emotionally and academically. The communication with families is also excellent, and we always feel informed and included in our daughter’s journey. I am very thankful to small friends child care Glenroy for providing a supportive and positive learning environment during my Certificate III placement. The educators and staff were always kind, helpful, and encouraging throughout my journey. I gained valuable skills, confidence, and practical experience while working with the children. My son is currently attending this childcare centre and he really enjoys it. He has made a lot of friends and always feels happy and comfortable there. The staff are highly trained, caring, and supportive, and the teachers always communicate with us about our son’s daily progress and activities. We are very happy with the care and environment provided.

As a parent of a 2-year-old, I’m very happy with Small Friends Childcare & Education Pearl Street. The educators are caring and supportive, and my son feels safe and enjoys attending every day. I completed my placement here in the toddler room and genuinely loved my time. The educators were all so kind and easy to work with, and they made me feel welcomed. Farah was a wonderful mentor and was always so understanding of us as students, offering constant encouragement and guidance. I felt really supported throughout my placement and I am very grateful for the experience and everything I learned.

Amazing and supportive teachers. Farah the manager has been very lovely to us since we arrived from NZ and supported us during our transition to a new country. My daughter enjoyed her time at Small Friends.

I did my placement at small friends childcare in the toddler room. The director of the centre was really very supportive and I must specially thank the team in the toddler room. They all were very kind and treated me as if I was a part of the team. I really appreciate they did for me during my placement. I also recommend this childcare for any parent near the area.
