At KU Kintaiba, we recognise that early childhood is a period of time considered to be the most crucial stage of development in a child’s life, as it provides the foundation for lifelong learning and the acquisition of life skills and abilities. Our early learning education provides a balance of child initiated and teacher-directed experiences. This includes experiences of play and intentional teaching of skills and knowledge.
During this period of education, emphasis is placed on the development of a child’s social and emotional wellbeing, literacy and numeracy understandings, cognitive skills, creative abilities and physical skills. Our learning environment provides challenge and practice for all children so that foundational knowledge, life skills and attitudes are developed and embedded for life.
We value the cultural, family and individual diversity in our community and encourage parents to visit the centre regularly to share their traditions, experience and cultural history with the children.
We operate Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm and provide long day care, including a full preschool program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 year olds
