Our daughter attended Sturt early learners for over 2 year's transitioning through UAP to her primary school. We can't speak highly enough of the family and community feeling here. Carmel and Jenny treat the parents as well as they do the children. Everyone was always included. They would go out of their way to make sure birthday invitations were sent out and even attended some parties on days off. Even when our daughter had the odd accident the communication was always brilliant. Any sickness was always monitored and parents kept notified. If you want a real family child care setting place your children here and not with one of the global money making centers that focus on money and not your kids. Our daughter loved her time here and we would highly recommend them.

From the moment you walk in, there’s a real sense of community at Sturt Childcare Centre! Our children attended from the age of 1 until they transitioned to kindy, and we couldn't be happier with their experience. The staff are incredibly attentive and nurturing, creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters children’s learning and development. They are invested in the families that attend, and you can really feel that they care. It's always reassuring to see friendly faces, and the care they offer truly stands out. This is a place where both children and parents can feel comfortable and supported. A wonderful, caring centre that we would highly recommend!!! We miss them!!!

We love Sturt Young Learners. It is more than a childcare, it is a community. I felt so apprehensive about our child starting childcare when visiting other centres but as soon as I toured this one I knew it was the place for us. The staff are so warm, caring and supportive of all the needs of the children in their care. They must love the centre too because the same staff have been there for years, I think that speaks volumes.

Sturt Young Learners is a very welcoming centre with incredible educators and directors. Our children have been attending for two years now, and we couldn’t be happier or feel more supported. The team creates a nurturing environment where both children and families feel valued and cared for.

Sturt Child Care Centre is absolutely fantastic with kids with developmental delays! The educators are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s well-being and development. The facilities are well-maintained, and the learning environment is both engaging and nurturing (and suited to both neurotypical and neurodivergent littles). Communication with parents is excellent, and it’s clear that the staff go above and beyond to create a safe and supportive space for kids to thrive. Highly recommend to any parent looking for quality childcare!

Both of my daughters attended Sturt Young Learners (SCCC) for 4 years each - from when I returned to work after maternity leave to when they started school. It was a place of fun and kindness and felt like family. My kids ate well, played hard (messy clothes was a sign of a good day!) and learned so much. And when their time at SCCC overlapped, my eldest was able to go and visit her sister in the nursery, which was wonderful for the both of them. They both bonded with their educators and made beautiful friends that we still have to this day. And the way they set them both up for kindergarten and school was amazing! The centre also knows what it's like to be a parent leaving their kid behind and juggling work and family. I was never rushed to leave if my kid was upset, they let me go at my pace, and my child's. There were updates and photos of their day and sooooo much beautiful artwork! The lines of communication were always open with Jenny, Carmel and all the educators. I would recommend Sturt Young Learners to anyone. It is a wonderful centre and both my daughters thrived there.

Our children started at SYL at a young age and continued right through into their kindy program. SYL management and educators are amazing with a wonderful knowledge of the needs of the children. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

My 2 children went to Sturt Child Care Centre and we were extremely happy with the care provided. The educators were excellent and so attentive to my children's needs. At drop off if they were a little upset, the educators would make sure they were ok and would settle them in for the day. This really helped ease my anxiety during drop off before I went off to work. I could always call and check in on them if needed. The Directors were fabulous and really cared about each child. There was definitely a family feel to the centre as you walked in each time, everyone would greet you. We would highly recommend this centre!
