The amazing staff at Mt Coolum Early Learning have spent the last 3 years helping me raise my autistic son into the beautiful little boy that he is. There is just so, so much more that goes into caring for an autistic child, it’s actually crazy. But nothing was ever too hard or too much, no one ever said ‘no we can’t do that’. Adjustments were constantly made to meet my son’s needs, and we were given never-ending effort, love, and support every day. I will be forever grateful to manager Julie and my son’s early educators for all that they’ve done for us. Thank you for keeping him safe, helping him grow, making him happy, loving him, and thank you for supporting me. I literally cannot put my gratitude into words.

My son has been coming to Mount Coolum Daycare since he was a baby and he is now in the last Kindy room. The educators here are so gentle and great with the kids, lots of educational learning through play and is a great local daycare.

We were once very happy with Mount Coolum Daycare, but this year has been disappointing. Class sizes were too large, behaviour wasn’t properly addressed, and communication around incidents was poor. Sadly, it no longer felt like a safe or supportive environment for our children.
At Mt Coolum Early Learning, we believe childhood should be wild, free, and full of wonder. Our centre redefines early education by embracing the “WILD HOOD” where learning happens through adventure, exploration, and joy.
