We couldn’t be happier with Bunyarra. The care, and genuine warmth shown by the staff was truly outstanding. Every educator in my child’s class was kind. I was touched by the fact that they made sure he eats by giving options. I’ve hardly seen that anywhere. A special mention to the director, who leads with such professionalism and heart. Her dedication is evident in every aspect of the centre, from the welcoming environment to the high standard of care provided each day. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our child is in a safe, nurturing, and positive space. Highly recommend this centre to any parent looking for a supportive and caring environment for their little ones.

Since 2012, Uniting Bunyarra Early Learning Chisholm has supported families across Chisholm, Maitland and the Hunter region, providing high‑quality early learning and preschool education for children from birth to 5 years. Located on Wonnarua land in a quiet corner of Chisholm, ACT, our long day care centre offers a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe and supported to learn.
An inclusive and connected learning community
Many of our educators have been part of the centre for many years, forming strong, trusting relationships with children and families. We value the diverse cultures of the local Chisholm community and are committed to creating a warm and respectful learning environment where every child feels valued and included.
Supporting every stage of early development
Our educators take a care‑based and responsive approach for babies and toddlers, supporting communication, physical development, and social and emotional wellbeing. Preschool children develop curiosity, confidence and independence through a balance of open‑ended play, structured learning experiences and regular local excursions.
Inspiring indoor and outdoor learning spaces
Our stimulating indoor classrooms and natural outdoor play spaces encourage creativity and exploration. Children may build sandcastles in the sandpit or become sustainability champions by caring for our worm farm, supporting early environmental awareness.
