We have had a wonderful experience with REID ELC (YWCA). My son began his journey at the centre in the toddler room and has since progressed to the junior room and preschool. Throughout his time at the centre, we have seen significant improvements in his communication, social skills, and gross motor development.<br><br>All the educators who have cared for and supported my son throughout his journey have been absolutely fantastic. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness, patience, dedication, and genuine care. They take the time to build trust with him, help him feel safe and comfortable, and engage with him using gentle words and encouragement. Their understanding and supportive approach have helped him grow in confidence and feel more comfortable in his environment.<br><br>We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Nicola, the current Centre Manager. Nicola is always kind, respectful, and approachable. She takes the time to listen to our concerns and makes us feel heard and supported as parents. Her caring attitude and willingness to listen make a real difference and contribute to the welcoming and positive environment at the centre.<br><br>We truly appreciate every educator who has been part of our son's journey. Each of them has played an important role in his learning, growth, and development. As parents, it means so much to see our son becoming more confident, developing his social skills, and enjoying his time in an environment where he feels safe, valued, and encouraged.<br><br>A heartfelt thank you to all the educators and Nicola for the wonderful care and support you have given our son. We feel very fortunate to be part of the REID ELC (YWCA) community and are grateful for the positive impact you have made on his early learning journey. Absolutely recommend this centre. My son has been attending for over 2 years and I am very happy with the way the daycare is run. Staff are kind and attentive, food is always fresh and there is a variety of yummy dishes for kids and the director has always been very kind to me and my son. I can’t speak highly enough! I don’t live in the area but feel like the daily drive is 100% worth it. My son loves it there!

We feel so lucky that our son went to Reid Early Childhood for the last two years, I couldn’t sing their praises enough. Every carer and staff member approached their work with thoughtfulness and kindness and gave my son the care and support he needed every day (even when he wasn’t in their class). Each part of the day was carefully thought through, from the creative new activities each morning on the tables when the children arrived or the learning theme for the week, the team gave my son a safe, warm, loving home to learn in each day. The food was always healthy and varied and the outdoor play area had bikes, slides, chickens to care for, and plants to water. The directors were always available and addressed each child’s needs proactively. We were grateful our son had an amazing few years there, the carers were all incredible and make the centre the wonderful place that it is.

RECC is an amazing childcare centre. They provide a warm, nurturing environment with excellent learning opportunities. They care for each individual child and their interests.

Such an amazing centre and team. Multicultural and enabling environment for my little one...

The team at Reid ELC has exceeded our expectations. My daughter was cared for with kindness, welcoming smiles/songs and endless activities. We are grateful for the amazing year there ◡̈

Can't speak highly enough of this centre. The educators are great and it feels like a real community. My daughter is happy to go every day. They have lovely spaces with some recent upgrades. The shady outdoor area is a real favourite of my daughter. So glad to have found this centre.

Such a great centre, we have had with our kids here and couldn't think of anyone better to look after my babies
