This is a great centre. The staff are friendly and engaged and there is ample outdoor space for the kids to run around!

We are very happy with our experience at KU Ultimo. Communication has been excellent, and we’ve always felt well informed about our daughter’s day, activities, and overall progress. We’re very grateful that we found a place she enjoys and where all educators are giving their very best to support each child’s needs with love and care.

I am beyond grateful to KU Ultimo. My first born graduated a couple years ago, we enrolled her when she was one so she went through nursery, toddler room and preschool. Now my second girls is finishing her preschool year at KU Ultimo. The educators are absolutely wonderful. They learnt and still learnign so much through play. My school girls said she wants to go back to be an educator at KU Ultimo :). For me trust was a crucial element and KU Ultimo delivered. My girls were feeling safe and they thrived / trive in the KU evironment. We loved all the educators with now Rebecca and Jung having a special place in my little one's heart. Thank you agian for all you did and still doing for us, KU Ultimo.

I cannot recommend KU Ultimo highly enough! Our daughter originally attended KU Lance, and when it closed, we transitioned here alongside the wonderful Director, Ewa. Our family has been through some incredibly tough times recently, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Ewa and her team. They supported us to the absolute extreme with so much genuine warmth, kindness, and empathy. Under Ewa’s amazing leadership, KU Ultimo has become a second home for my daughter. She loves going every day, has made wonderful friends, and is constantly picking up new hobbies. The educators here are so capable, deeply caring, and keep the centre spotlessly clean. A massive bonus is the outdoor area. It’s absolutely lovely and such a rare gem in the Sydney CBD, where everything else is just concrete buildings. If you are looking for a daycare that feels like family and provides a beautiful environment for your child to thrive, this is it. We are so incredibly grateful to the whole team!

We've been with KU Ultimo for 6 years now, both my kids have attended from nursery up until pre-school and I can confidently recommend this centre. The teachers are caring, empathetic and involved, the environment is built around natural resources with plenty of outdoor areas such as sandpit and mudkitchen. I trust KU Ultimo as my village to raise my children safely, respectfully and lovingly.

I highly recommend KU Ultimo - Our family has been apart of this community for close to 8 years consecutively between my 3 children. Their stand out features for me is their large natural outdoor play space. Finding a centre in the city with this is very rare, bunnies and chickens included! What truly sets this centre apart, however, is the consistency of the educators. It speaks volumes about the management and culture that so many staff members are long-standing. There is something incredibly special about having the same educators who looked after my eldest who are now caring for my youngest; that level of trust and continuity has kept us at the centre. Even in times of relocation, the travel was well worth it for me because I knew my children were settled and nurtured here. Easily accessible by L1 light rail, Ultimo Public School, Ian Thorpe Aquatic centre and Wentworth Park sporting fields; KU Ultimo is so central to get the after school activities done with your older children whilst the younger ones are cared for at the centre.

When we first moved from overseas, our first priority was to find a peaceful, clean, caring, and supportive childcare centre for our 2.5-year-old son. We visited more than five childcare centres, and KU Ultimo Preschool stood out as the best in terms of its ratings, approach to families and children, indoor and outdoor spaces, beautiful and functional garden, and openness to communication and dialogue. Ewa and her team were very helpful during the enrolment process and throughout our whole journey. I also love that children of different ages interact with each other during the day while still having their own dedicated spaces. The teachers are very professional, and we receive a lot of feedback about our child’s development and progress. Thank you, KU Ultimo Preschool!

Our child’s been attending KU Ultimo since they were 14 months and are now happy and thriving. The centre is in an old but very sturdy building and has a welcoming community vibe with a large, outdoor play space which is excellent for growing kids keen to explore outdoors safely and burn off some energy. We also believe having such a large outdoor space has reduced the severity of sicknesses our child’s had, and the staff at the centre are very calm and dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all children. They’re also prompt to respond to any queries or concerns. We’ve been happy with the centre and recommend it based on our experiences :)

Our daughters have been attending KU Ultimo since they were babies, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. It’s truly been like a second home for them. The love, care and attention they’ve received over the years have shaped their early years in the best way possible. My boy joined KU Ultimo since Nursery to Preschool, almost every time I pick up him no matter how late, the educators are very patient playing with him happily. Many fun activities built in learning. Much appreciated!
