We absolutely love this team. From the very first phone call to walking through the gates on tour day, Madi made us feel so welcomed, informed, and comfortable. There was never any pressure, just genuine care and support. Our daughter used to struggle with drop offs and rarely had a good start to the day, but everything changed once she moved to this daycare. Now, drop offs and pick ups are something we all look forward to! The smiles, the waves, the giggles. It’s such a nice change to see. Miss Amanda is an incredible teacher, and the level of care from all the staff is truly reassuring. Our daughter now happily blows kisses goodbye when we leave, which says everything. The team is attentive and thoughtful! They’ll call if she seems a bit off during the day, and even check in if she’s absent, just to make sure she’s okay. I know choosing the right place for your child can feel overwhelming, especially when reading reviews. But I strongly encourage you to visit the centre yourself. Some older reviews don’t reflect what this daycare is today. It’s a caring, supportive, and genuinely wonderful environment.

As someone working in the allied health sector and as a caregiver of a child attending Canopy Early Education in Ormiston, I wanted to share my recent experience. I had read some previous reviews before engaging with Canopy, but our experience has been very positive. The team at Canopy have been incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and proactive in their support. I have appreciated the way they go above and beyond to ensure the food is suitable, to provide activities children enjoy, and to ask thoughtful questions so they can really get to know each child and cater to their needs. The educators are friendly, collaborative, and genuinely focused on creating a positive environment for the children in their care. Communication with the team has been excellent, and they have always been open and supportive. Bri (the Centre Manager) has been incredible from the moment I first contacted Canopy. It is clear that she takes great care in nurturing relationships with both the children and their families and wants the best for her team and the children in their care. She has been so accommodating and is always friendly and responsive. I was fortunate to meet Jessie (Area Manager), who is clearly committed to developing and delivering a service that exceeds the standards in childcare. She was warm, approachable, and nothing was too much trouble. It was clear she genuinely cares about the experience of both the children and their families. Victoria is a wonderful educator and clearly dedicated to ensuring everyone in her room feels safe, included, and cared for. Her experience supporting children with diverse needs was evident from our first interaction, and her genuine care for the children was clear from the outset. Every staff member I have interacted with so far has been warm and welcoming. The smaller class sizes are also a real strength of the centre, as they allow educators to build meaningful relationships with the children and respond to their individual needs. It’s clear that the current management and staff are working hard to build a strong, supportive culture within Canopy, and this is reflected in the care and attention shown to the children and families each day. We’ve had a very positive experience so far, and I appreciate the effort the team puts into supporting the children and families in their care.

Alot of the positive reviews below are by staff members including the area managers husband (Matt Baker) and a current staff member (Victoria Walsh). Unfortunately, we have had repeated problems with the centre since my children commenced 6 months ago. If safety and supervision and quality care are important to you DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE !!! A few months ago - one of my twins was closed into the staff office completely unsupervised with negligent educators unaware he was missing for a while, i am thankful he wasn’t hurt. The centre seemed to take this incident seriously so i regrettably left my children enrolled. Since then i have continued raising concerns over educators being left on their own in a large playground which would be impossible for one person to supervise and attend to the children’s needs. Despite reassurances there seems to many occasions where the centre does not provide adequate supervision. This resulted in a serious incident where my two toddler twins climbed the playground fence and got into the car park which is near a busy road - the staff in the playground didn’t even notice, the director was the one who bought them back into the centre. We are so lucky that they weren’t seriously injured or worse. When discussing this with the area manager Jessie - her attitude was completely dismissive, we didn’t even receive an apology. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE It’s basically a ghost town anyway with hardly any children there - assuming most people have realised it’s a terrible centre that should just be closed down before someone’s child is killed by this incredibly negligent centre.
