I've seen such wonderful growth and positive changes at Canopy Early Education Ormiston. The educators create a welcoming environment where children feel valued and excited to learn. The interactions are warm and engaging — staff take the time to listen, extend children’s ideas, and encourage confidence in their language and play. Mealtimes are a highlight thanks to the centre’s chef, Miss Rita who prepares delicious and nutritious meals that the children genuinely enjoy. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making food both healthy and fun. We’ve had such a wonderful experience at canopy Early Education Ormiston! The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the children, their interactions are always thoughtful and nurturing. Since the new management has come on board, the centre has gone from strength to strength. You can really feel the positive shift in energy, and it’s clear that a lot of love and effort is going into making the environment the best it can be. The centre is looking absolutely beautiful, fresh, inviting, and full of engaging spaces for the children to explore and learn. It’s such a lovely place to walk into each day, and we feel so confident knowing our child is in such capable and caring hands. Over the past few months, the centre has undergone some wonderful changes, and the transformation has been truly heartwarming. The educators are exceptional, they consistently show love, kindness, and genuine care for every child. Their respectful and nurturing approach creates a safe and joyful environment where children thrive. The new leadership team has brought a refreshing energy to the centre. Their support for both the educators and families is evident not only in the improved appearance of the centre but also in the overall atmosphere. There’s a noticeable sense of happiness and unity among the team, and the children are clearly benefiting from this positive shift. This lovely little centre truly feels like a home away from home. It’s a place where children are cherished, families are supported, and the team works together with heart. I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and dedication shown every day.

Staff seem to busy to give time required of them, daily charts not being done, food supplied needs to be better.

My Children have been at this Centre for two years and I can honestly say our experience has been joyful and flawless. My Eldest daughter has ASD and needed special care. Miss Cindy took her under her wing and became her special comfort person and went out of her way to be there for my daughter at transitions and during the day. My child had a safe space because of an Educator with her Heart in her career ❤️ My youngest daughter has grown immensely since arriving at this Centre, she leaps into her educators arms and waves goodbye, so happy to start her day. It's a good feeling to know your kids are happy and well looked after. Since the change over from Jungle cubs to Canopy, I've seen a lot of positive change and rapid growth in this Centre. The staff that fill the Centre are lively, present, happy, well presented and connected. When the Ladies meet you at the door they remember your names, they take the time to get to know you and your family and the best part, beautiful authentic, real people. They welcome you like family. I look forward to my drop offs and pick ups every day because I know we are going to be met by a community. It honestly feels like family at Canopy Ormiston and I couldn't recommend it Enough.

I have been at the centre before when it was jungle cubs and through the change over to Canopy Ormiston. Although a lot of the original staff left (expected when change of ownership and daycare centres generally have a high changeover rate as it is), and at the end of last year there was somewhat of a rocky stage whilst this change happened. Since then, Canopy Ormiston have done everything they can and more to make us feel like family. The communication is the best it’s ever been, they listen and address concerns. This year has been nothing short of amazing and I am happy to have my son in the program here. His new teacher goes above and beyond, and the management staff are amazing ! Since the start of this year I cannot fault anything about the service, learning experiences etc. I just want to thank everybody at Canopy Ormiston, Lynne and Peta for making us feel welcome and we look forward to our year here at Canopy Ormiston !

🚩 I would highly recommend taking your children anywhere else!! 🚩 I first enrolled my children at Jungle Cubs, it was a home away from home. My children were loved and the management team were amazing! However, the change over to Canopy was very very poor on canopy’s behalf. This company made me uneasy from the moment I met them. As an educator myself I was able to pick up on these red flags very quickly and removed my children ASAP. -Canopy provided no educational program, my daughter was moved from her room as a 2 year old and I was told she would spend her days in the Kindergarten room. -We had on a few occasions a senior educator kiss both of my children on their faces. -Whilst I am a believer in outdoor play, I do strongly believe it is important for children to have down time indoors and be provided educational activities to engage and support their learning and development. Instead of this happening as per the regulations the children instead would watch non- educational videos on the TV screen (for the short period they were indoors). -Management were very dismissive, and rude. I hope if management read this, that they revise and implement better practices. Not just for the sake of their business but for the tiny little humans people are entrusting in their care.
