My son T has been at nursery 1.2 at OAC Surry Hills for 7 months now and we couldn’t be happier. The team there - Joanna, Rachel, Arpana, Menchie, Indie, Suraksha and Baheja - are wonderful and helped my shy baby adjust at daycare and feel at home there. I would particularly like to thank Joanna Gainsford for being such a warm presence and support to my toddler as well as to me and my husband. Being first time parents we feel very lucky to have someone so kind and experienced on our side.

Raquel, Mina and team are awesome. My son loves it there, great facilities with the indoor and outdoor spaces. The educators are always communicating if anything needs adjusting and they work really hard to make sure he gets sleep throughout the day. Very thankful to be a part of OAC Surry Hills.

Welcome to Only About Children Surry Hills!
Only About Children Surry Hills is a warm and inviting child care centre on Devonshire Street in Sydney’s inner west. Children are cared for by qualified and passionate educators, in a safe and home-like environment that facilitates play-based learning that is both structured and unstructured. Children from six weeks to school age are cared for from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm with all meals and snacks provided.
In the large outdoor play spaces, the children are free to dig in the sandpit, play in the river rock stream, or water the plants in the edible garden. Inside, the light-filled spaces use natural materials to encourage play and interaction with friends. The centre features a library, yoga room, and even has a pet turtle for the children to help take care of. Educators enjoy taking the children out in the local community for excursions and community activities that build on the children’s interests. This includes visits to the local library, greengrocer and Surry Hills Mall.

This purpose-built campus is close to local parks and shops with on-site parking to make drop off and pick up times easier. It is just ten minutes on foot from Central Station and has a Light Rail station right out the front, making it ideal for commuting families. Why not book a tour today?
