I am so so grateful for all the amazing staff at goodstart Mona vale for the level of care they provide my daughter. It’s so comforting seeing the relationships she has built with both educators and children. Kate in admin is so friendly and engaging. She is extremely thorough and responsive in her role and I love that she takes the time to engage with the children and parents. The warmth is paramount in creating a strong sense of community and belonging for our kids. We love the excursions and collaboration with the local public school, really fostering that sense of community. I am so glad to have made the decision to enrol my daughter here, cannot fault a thing and know my family has made life long friendships with both staff and families.

Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.

Hi, I’m Kylie and I am the Centre Director here at Goodstart Mona Vale. I started here in April 2024, I have 19 years experience working as a Centre Director on the Northern Beaches and live locally. I love our Community, I have 3 small children who attend local schools and you will find us all most weekends in summer enjoying everything this area has to offer, but mostly at Mona Vale Beach.
I believe children develop and learn through their own interests and imagination, and the best way to foster this is by creating a safe and secure environment. This includes building strong relationships between the entire family and our Goodstart Mona Vale team.
Personally, I have felt very welcome and supported here by both the educators and families. Being situated right in the heart of Mona Vale is a huge advantage as it encourages us to open our doors and be a part of the larger community. It is heart warming to arrive here each morning to hear singing and laughter and be greeted by the smiling faces of the children.
As a Centre Director my aim is to build this Service into the best on the Northern Beaches. I am always available for a chat and to listen to any feedback you have to offer. It is important to me that your child’s time at our Centre is a positive, nurturing and fun experience. I believe their love of learning starts here, and they will leave fully prepared for their transition onto school.

Goodstart Mona Vale has been the best community for loving admin staff(Kate) wonderful director(Kylie) and the best kindy teachers (Jessie, Rekha, Claudia). Good start Mona Vale is a great centre because Kate cares about each and every parent and remember you by name. She has even called to check in after my child got a splinter.You feel seen and heard with the admin staff not just the teachers. Having the friendly and personable approach makes the centre a brilliant place to care for your children. Kylie the director of the centre is just as involved with the parents and children as she is with bettering the centre. I love the Kylie's dedication to improvement of relationship between parents and staff.

We have our two of our three kids in Goodstart and they love it. Our eldest finished up last year after 4 years in Goodstart and is flying in primary school. The educators are excellent. We get Story park updates daily and I can't believe how many fun activities they can cram into a day. The preschoolers even been doing excursions to the library and old folks home which our son has been loving. Our daughter in the nursery is so easy to drop off because she loves being handed over for a cuddle with the educators looking after her. They've even just done up outdoor play area which is a perfect space to run around mad with their friends. We're really happy with the place, five stars.
