We enrolled our son over 6 months prior to his planned start date, and were advised that we would be contacted 4-6 weeks prior to this date to organise orientation. Instead, we were informed (via email, and only when I had reached out to book orientation) that there had been an influx of new enrolments (long after we had enrolled), and that our son no longer had a place. We were not consulted at all prior to them accepting the new enrolments to see if we were still attending. Not sure what the point of enrolling early was when your place gets given away without being contacted whatsoever. We have now been left with no care for our son, with no other family around, and I am returning to work in a few weeks. Please consider this when deciding whether to enrol your children at this centre.

When my family and I decisided to move to the eastern suburbs our biggest concern was finding adequate child care for our youngest son. As he is the most vulnerable member of our family we wanted to make certain to find him placement in a trusted facility.
After several failed attempts at finding a centre, we (by sheer luck) stumbled across Emmikins Early Learning Centre.
It didn't look as big and modern as some of the other centres we viewed, regardless, we decided to take a chance and call the centre.
The next day we arrived for an orientation. We were initially greeted by the centre's owner, Beth, who was soon accompanied by the centre's manager, Bree. Both ladies were welcoming and engaging, and Very down to earth, they answered all our hard questions with ease. We left feeling at ease and excited with our choice.
It's been almost a year now and not only is my son happy here, he's also thriving beyond my expectations.
The best part, it feels like we're dropping our son off at his aunties house. There is a comfortability/familiarity that's unmatched by our passed experiences.
This place is truely, a diamond in the rough.

I can not recommend emmikins enough! Each educator I've met has been caring, thoughtful and I can honestly say I feel 100% at ease with leaving my baby with them. My boy always comes back happy, fed, changed and tired from his big of learning and exploring! 💙💙💙

We couldn’t be more grateful for our time at Emmikins ELC. From the very beginning, the centre has provided such a warm and supportive environment — not just for our child, but for us as a family. The educators are incredibly mindful and caring, especially when it comes to supporting transitions through the rooms. Every move has been handled with such thoughtfulness, ensuring our child felt safe, confident, and truly seen. Their attention to emotional wellbeing and development has made all the difference. It’s hard to believe we’re nearing the end of our journey here — we will be genuinely sad to graduate! Emmikins has been such a nurturing and special part of our lives, and we’ll always be thankful for the wonderful foundation they’ve helped to build. Highly recommend to any family looking for a centre that feels like a second home.

Carers and teachers are there for the children. Young enthusiastic educators as well that keeps the children creative and thriving. My kid will definitely miss this place.

My 21mths son loves this childcare. All educator are loving and caring. My son is sensitive to lactose and they always check with me if they can introduce dairy food to the boy. They also help me to adjust the boy's jetlag after long holiday. Beth also helps the families and is responsive. She can always answer my questions and concerns. I can see my son builds his confidence and peer relationship with other children. I am happy with Emmikins and would definitely recommend it.

A caring environment that have dedicated and loving staff. The children are provided to with an abundance of opportunities including play based learning. My little one loves learning baby yoga.

We deliberately chose a small centre when thinking about care for our daughter and have never regretted our decision to choose Emmikins. Beth is very responsive and has worked incredibly hard to put together a great team. The educators are fantastic - my child feels really nurtured but also stimulated by the program on offer. Thank you Emmikins!

Beth and her team treat the kids like family and it really shows in the closeness of my daughter’s relationship with Beth and her carers at Emmikins. Beth goes the extra mile for the children with different ideas for Christmas gifts and even went to the trouble of providing hand knit beanies one winter. I would highly recommend Emmikins to other families.

Our kids have been to a few different Childcare centres, Emmikins is the best with caring educators and great covid management. We love this ELC. Highly recommended.
