St Nicholas Early Education Chisholm is a 134-place childcare centre offering quality early childhood education and care, located in the heart of the thriving Waterford County Estate. Co-located with St Aloysius Primary School, the centre provides a seamless experience for families with children attending both locations. Opening in 2018, St Nicholas Chisholm quickly became a trusted name in childhood education and care, and in 2021, we expanded to meet the increasing demand from local families. With this expansion, the centre’s capacity nearly doubled, growing from 77 to 134 licensed places.
At St Nicholas Early Education Chisholm, we pride ourselves on creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. Our centre features contemporary indoor and outdoor early learning spaces designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Diverse play opportunities include wooden climbing structures made from natural materials, dry river beds, bicycle tracks, a mud pit, and large open-plan rooms that cater to a variety of play and learning opportunities.
We also offer a highly-regarded Transition to School program for preschool children, ensuring they are well-prepared for the next stage of their educational journey. This program, coupled with our partnership with St Aloysius Primary School and the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, offers families a connected educational pathway with *greater priority enrolment. By combining convenience with quality education, we support families through every step of their child’s learning journey.
