Childcare can be incredibly challenging and demanding, and it’s without a doubt one of the most important jobs. These educators care for our children from as young as newborns. In today’s world, there are many scary things happening, and trusting a service without knowing what goes on behind the scenes can feel overwhelming. I’ve been a parent at Pebbles for a while now, during which the centre has transitioned through two directors, with Jemba now leading. As childcare is such a demanding field, staff and management changes do happen. Naturally, I had moments of concern about the potential impact on my child and how things might unfold. However, despite the changes, my child has always remained happy, content, safe, well-fed, and cared for. I’ve never had concerns raised, and for that, I am truly grateful. There was a point where I wondered if the grass might be greener elsewhere, mainly due to the staff changes, but I quickly realised it wasn’t. Pebbles consistently has engaging activities, the children are always content, playing, and learning, and there’s a genuine family vibe that I haven’t found anywhere else. That alone brings so much peace of mind. Jemba and the Team are doing an outstanding job leading Pebbles and continuously improving the centre to be the best it can be. I would confidently recommend Pebbles to my friends and family.

I cannot thank Pebbles ELC enough for the amazing care and support they've provided for my 4-year-old daughter. From day one, the staff has been incredibly attentive, understanding, and nurturing. They've taken the time to listen to my worries and concerns, and their open communication has truly put my mind at ease. It's wonderful to see how much my daughter enjoys her time there, and I genuinely appreciate the effort the team puts into creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment. We couldn’t be happier with Pebbles Early Learning & Childcare Kingswood! All three of our children attend the centre four days a week, and the care, support, and attention they receive from the educators is amazing. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the wellbeing and development of the children. The facilities are fantastic — bright, clean, safe, and full of engaging spaces that our kids love. We’ve seen our children grow in confidence and independence since starting at Pebbles, and we are so grateful to the wonderful team. Absolutely love pebbles early learning! My daughters have experienced such love, care and support during their initial transition to the centre and the communication is amazing! I am never left wondering what’s happening or what they’ve eaten and etc because the educators are on the ball with everything. Also a beautiful clean centre and very well resourced. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking!

As a parent, I had a deeply disappointing experience with Pebbles Early Learning & Childcare Kingswood, which ultimately led me to withdraw my daughter from the service. One of the most serious concerns involved a lack of supervision. My daughter was left unsupervised in the Toilet and was inappropriately touched by another child. The educators had no idea about it. When I raised this, the centre’s response was highly unprofessional and dismissive. I was told they “can’t guarantee 100% safety” and that children “need to learn independence” to prepare for Kindy, it happened so quick or kids have different version of story—completely overlooking their duty of care. There were ongoing issues of emotional neglect. My daughter was unfairly judged by educators who projected negative opinions about her to other children. She was also isolated during social situations without understanding or support. On another occasion, she was left distressed and crying, surrounded by unfamiliar educators and peers who were happily holding hands and playing together, while she stood watching—confused, excluded, and with no idea. The educators and Centre director expected a 4 years old to manage complex emotional interactions on her own. Despite being trained professionals, staff consistently failed to provide appropriate guidance or comfort, and excused their inaction by blaming the “quick nature” of incidents. When I raised these issues, the Centre Director repeatedly deflected responsibility—blaming my daughter’s behaviour, her age and brain development, or her upcoming transition to Kindy, rather than acknowledging the centre’s own shortcomings. My concerns were often dismissed or ignored entirely, instead of being addressed constructively. Despite raising multiple issues and trying to work collaboratively, the centre’s overall handling of concerns was defensive, unprofessional, and inadequate. This experience fell well below the standards families should expect from an early childhood service. My daughter attended 4days a week from 8am-6pm. That’s a significant amount of time in care, and she deserved a more supportive, nurturing environment. I cannot recommend Pebbles Kingswood. Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and cared for—sadly, that was not our experience.

I wouldn’t even waste my time. My experience with this school was nothing but a let down from the start built on false reassurances and extremely poor work ethic being days available to fees due. I missed a funeral just to attend orientation as this is how much my daughter starting meant to her. I now have to explain to my daughter who had extremely high hopes of finally starting that she will not be although she was sent off from orientation last Friday on “see you next week” terms just because some admin couldn’t use a bit more mental effort on a Friday afternoon and instead of working with me on a technical issue thought it’d be easier to remove her enrolment altogether.

My 4 children have been enrolled at pebbles for 3 weeks now. I have a child in each class and I am very satisfied by the quality of care & lovely educators. My 4 year old son never ate food or really engaged in group activities at his previous daycare & used to cry when I picked him up but at pebbles he has plenty of photos as evidence of how much happier he is and I have seen an change of attitude in him when I tell him he has school in the morning, he is excited to go. I have 1 year old twins who started daycare at pebbles & the educators have made the transition for them such a good experience & the lovely ladies in the Joey room have such bubbly personalities. For my 2 year old, miss Chloe always has such a sweet welcoming for her every morning, ensuring my daughter that she will have lovely day at daycare as sometimes she struggles to be left. When I drop my children off at pebbles I know I'm leaving them with people who adore all the children there. Highly recommend Pebbles!

Pebbles Kingswood is a little gem that was well worth the wait. From the moment I met the director for the tour, I knew this daycare was going to be the one. Miss Brenda is very friendly and professional. She kept us in the loop on the progress of the daycare and when it was to open. The educators are wonderful, polite and loving. They patiently helped my little one settle in. From being scared to now owning the floor :). The transition in the morning is great which leaves you knowing your little one will be okay even on days they are not very happy. They take time to understand the needs of each child and implement changes where required. They are nothing short of amazing. You are highly appreciated!! I am a happy parent and I feel safe having my child in Pebbles.

If you're unsure about changing centres to Pebbles, don't be. I was hesitant to change daycares as my little one struggles to communicate (global developmental delay) and has trouble adjusting to change. After touring the centre and meeting Brenda, I was more at ease that I was making the right choice. We transitioned by visiting daily for a little over a week before we started, we had the opportunity to meet the team and they were so welcoming and attentive to my little one, despite that he hadn't yet started. The director Brenda and staff have gone over and above to ensure that Adam has ways to communicate his needs, putting lanyards/ communication cards and sensory items in place from the moment they were aware that he needs additional support. At drop-offs, my little one has run to the door with excitement; this is a new experience for us. The centre is exceptional, the staff phenomenal, the owner- inspirational, this is where you want your child to be when you can't be with them. I am truly so appreciative that I have found a centre best described as a 'family' that cares for my child like I do. I look forward to the years ahead, as my son grows with Pebbles.
