I was previously enrolled at Woodlands and I would not recommend this operator to other families.

The closure of the Sunshine centre caused significant stress and uncertainty for families, and I felt the communication and support during that time was very poor.

What concerns me even more is the wider pattern. I am also aware of other centre closures involving this operator, and recent public reporting about Woodlands St Kilda Road raised very serious safety concerns, including potential child access to a 12th-floor balcony and issues with emergency evacuation planning.

As a parent, that is extremely concerning. In my view, safety, communication and trust should be the absolute minimum in early childhood education. Based on my experience and the publicly reported issues, I would strongly encourage families to do their own checks before enrolling.

We are very grateful to the Woodland staff for all the care and support they have given our daughter. She joined the centre when she was around 6 months old and has learned so much throughout her time there. The educators have always been caring, supportive and genuinely invested in the children. Thank you to the whole team for everything you do. We highly recommend.

This childcare is such a hidden gem. I honestly didn’t expect it to be so amazing and you even find a real airplane where children can play inside, which is just incredible to see in person. The whole experience was beautiful from start to finish. The centre feels safe, modern and very well thought out, and the staff were all so kind, welcoming and genuinely lovely. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a place that really stands out

We couldn’t be happier with Woodlands St Kilda! After a really tough experience at our previous childcare centre, we weren’t sure what to expect — but Woodlands has been exceptional. The teachers are so warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Our little one is a picky eater and used to have a very hard time settling, but the team here has worked wonders. She still sheds a few tears at drop-off in the mornings, but she has made so many friends and absolutely thrives once she’s in — which is everything! The difference from our previous childcare experience is night and day. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful, nurturing place. Highly recommend to any family looking for childcare in St Kilda!

Very good organization, nice and patient teachers, professional procedures are in place, my son had made a lot of friends and enjoyed wonderful time here! Multicultural and mandarin speaking teachers are available!

Woodlands daycare at St Kilda Rd made it to the top of our shortlist while looking for a modern and clean daycare. The staff is good specially the educators are nice and have a lot of patience. Our heartfelt thanks to: Su, Leslie, Roy, Yina, Tanya, Maddy, Marie, Mia, Rachel - Thanks all of you, for being that next level of support. Last but not the least Mohd - always supportive and out there to help with all our queries.

April, Xyujing, Madison, Sudhamayi, Huynh, and Yina in the Thamiyn room are incredible people and incredible educators. My child looks forward to daycare every week so much she gets upset when she can't go. Couldn't recommend it more.

Today is my first day of placement, and I’m impressed by how supportive and attentive the educators in the Fleur Room are. Their professionalism and genuine care create such a welcoming and positive learning environment.
