Located on the corner of Park Terrace and Second Street, Green Leaves Early Learning Bowden is a double-storey centre that has been custom-designed to meet the evolving learning needs of children from six weeks to six years of age.
As you enter our beautiful centre, you’ll find our state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen and culinary lesson space as well as our Parents Lounge where families can catch up with each other or Educators over fresh barista coffee and a baked treat.
At Green Leaves Early Learning Bowden, our all-inclusive fees provide convenience and peace of mind. Nappies, linen, hats, nutritious meals, and snacks, as well as activities such as yoga and music classes, even visiting shows and excursions, are included.
Each of our learning environments is bright and inviting, filled with rich, warm timber resources and innovative educational materials. Each environment leads out to a wonderful outdoor space, where children can enjoy countless hours of fun on the bike track, in the cubby house, or caring for the edible garden.
Our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers will deliver our Kindergarten program (4-6 years old), which is designed to support our children in developing the skills and abilities essential to achieving success in future learning environments.
As part of our commitment to high-quality early education, we’re proud to share that our Centre has been selected to deliver the South Australian Government’s Flying Start for Kids program, beginning in January 2026. This exciting initiative provides eligible 3-year-olds with up to 15 hours per week of teacher-led, play-based preschool at no additional cost to families. We’re one of six Green Leaves centres across South Australia chosen to lead this program, reflecting our dedication to excellence in early learning.

3 Years – 4 Years
Inspiring confident, capable learners through purposeful play, building independence, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning as children prepare for the next stage of their journey.
4 years – 6 years
Empowering children to transition confidently to school with learning programs that strengthen literacy and numeracy foundations, independence, resilience, and social confidence.
Included as part of the daily fee, children enjoy a range of engaging experiences designed to support their learning, wellbeing, and development.
Programs focus on outdoor exploration, sustainability and environmental learning, creative arts, music and movement, language and literacy experiences, and activities that encourage confidence, independence, and school readiness skills.
Children participate in enriching incursions, excursions, and hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and discovery, alongside nutritious meals and food-related experiences that promote healthy habits. Every experience is thoughtfully designed to nurture each child’s growth while making learning meaningful, engaging, and fun.

I have the peace of mind leaving my kids and knowing they are safe, happy and well taken care of…it’s a place that builds and supports meaningful connection. The team nurtures the kids individually needs and development milestones. Children have the space to be themselves and have fun.

We’ve had such a great experience with Green Leaves at Bowden. The staff are genuinely kind and caring. Our son has made such lovely friends from a really early age and actually looks forward to going, which says everything. Also have to give a big shout-out to Marion in admin — she is honestly amazing. She’s always friendly, super helpful, and just makes everything so easy. Whether it’s questions, forms, bookings, or anything else that pops up, Marion is always on top of it and happy to help. It really makes a difference. We feel really lucky to be here and would 100% recommend the centre to other families.

Green leaves Bowden is an excellent child care centre :D After transferring from another centre that did not align with our needs or values for son, we were genuinely worried that he might never enjoy child care. However, from the moment we joined Green Leaves Bowden, those fears disappeared. From day one, we have been consistently amazed by the outstanding level of care, support, and genuine love that every staff member shows not only to our son but also to us as a family. We are always greeted with warm smiles, thoughtful communication, and a feeling of true partnership in our sons wellbeing. The educators go above and beyond whether it’s creating engaging learning experiences, offering comfort on the tougher days, or celebrating our sons milestones with us. Their communication is excellent, and we always feel informed, included, and reassured. Our son has adored every educator he’s had and becomes excited each morning to go to child care something we honestly never thought we would see. Watching him grow in confidence, happiness, and independence has been one of the greatest gifts. We cannot thank the staff enough for their dedication, kindness, and the genuine effort they put into caring for our little boy. Leaving your child in someone else’s care can be a nerve-racking experience, but Green Leaves Bowden has made us feel nothing but comfortable, supported, and incredibly grateful. Our family love Green Leaves, Our first has been attending for over two years and we've never once had a bad experience. All of the staff listen and help with managing her care and we always feel so warm and welcomed within the centre. Currently just had our second child and already know she will attend this centre as well. We love all of the staff and are grateful for all of the love and support they have provided over the years.

Greenleaves Bowden is a fantastic early learning Centre (ELC)! The staff are not only caring but also super professional, and their approach to early childhood education is really thoughtful and well-organised. As parents, we’ve absolutely loved getting daily updates about our daughter's learning, play, and all her little achievements—it's been so special! We're definitely going to miss the wonderful Greenleaves family when our daughter starts school. Wishing them all the very best!
