Welcome to Sarah Carter Kindergarten
Sarah Carter Kindergarten is a brand-new, purpose-built two-room service that opened in 2025. Conveniently located within the Maribyrnong Community Centre and offers a rich, play-based learning program for both 3- and 4-year-old children.

Our philosophy
Our dedicated Educators gently guide each child’s learning through meaningful interactions that build confidence and encourage critical thinking. All of this takes place in a fun, nurturing environment where your child feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

We offer a child centred, play based educational program where children can spend time playing and developing learning dispositions including exploration, creativity, experimentation, curiosity, imagination and risk taking. Our program focuses on encouraging children to develop at their own pace, build on their interests, grow in social competence and independence and be active in learning.
