About Bluebird Early Education Cameron Park

At Bluebird Cameron Park, we provide care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years through play-based learning in an inclusive and nurturing environment. We celebrate diversity and value each child’s unique experiences, fostering curiosity, exploration, and growth. Our programs empower children as confident, capable learners who extend their own learning and potential.

We view families as the first educators, actively involving them through community events and open days to share talents, cultures, and experiences. Our environment is designed with input from children, creating spaces that inspire and foster a sense of ownership.

We embrace Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives to promote respect and understanding. Our community connections are essential, as we engage with local organizations and take part in regular excursions, reinforcing that learning is ongoing and interconnected.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our Bluebird Cameron Park community.

About the curriculum

About the curriculum

The Kindergarten program is a complete cycle of each individual child’s development. Educators see and learn the ways children take on new knowledge and adapt their teaching practices to cater for them. The environment is busy and forever changing as learning evolves. You’ll often find the Kinder children out at Forest School, where the natural environment is the teacher.

Through many literacy games, active outdoor play, and day-to-day activities, Educators strive to get each child ready for their first year of school, providing them with the emotional, physical and intellectual support.

Qualified Teachers constantly critically reflect on their curriculum, ensuring that it’s at its best for the diversity within the centre. A home away from home, where learning takes flight with the little Bluebirds.

Centre philosophy

Centre philosophy

Kindy of Kindness - Initiatives may include visits to aged care facilities, baking for the local emergency services, and fund-raising projects to assist charity groups.

Sustainability Program - By taking part in daily sustainable living practices including recycling, composting, worm farming, energy and water saving, the children develop a working understanding of how they can play a vital role in protecting the environment.

Community connections - By forging strong community ties they enable the children to develop a deep sense of belonging and connection to the world around them, construct an understanding of how society works, and begin to recognise and respect the shared values that unite us.

Technology focus - Technology is introduced through a play based approach. Educators role model and assist children to gain new knowledge and to better understand concepts through the designated computer programs.

Health & Nutrition

Health & Nutrition

The centre believes in a hands-on approach to teaching children about food, which is why cooking classes are offered as part of the curriculum.

Children are encouraged to help out where they can, whether that’s chopping fruit for smoothies or pouring them out for everyone.

Food is used as a way to teach children about identifying their needs and attending to them. Children can access drink stations and fruit bowls for a quick snack.

I find it incredibly rewarding to be a part of each child’s Early Education journey. To watch as they grow, learn, develop, play, and prepare for their transition to school is so rewarding and a true privilege! Throughout this journey I endeavour to instil in each child, a lifelong love of learning.

My daughter has been attending Cameron Park Bluebird Education Centre since she was just 3 months old, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the centre and the amazing educators. From day one, the staff made us feel supported, reassured, and confident in the care they provide. They truly go above and beyond, not only meeting her needs but helping her grow, learn, and thrive. It’s clear they treat every child like their own, and the bond my daughter has built with her educators makes drop-offs so much easier. The communication is fantastic, the environment is safe, nurturing and engaging, and I’ve watched my daughter flourish under their care. I’m so grateful to have found such a caring and professional team—Bluebird Cameron Park is a second home for her, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Highly recommend to any family looking for a high-quality, loving early education centre!

My nephew attends Bluebird Early Education Cameron Park and we are so happy with the centre. As someone in the ECE industry, it is such a nice feeling knowing the Educators are dedicated and will keep our children safe. Would recommend this ECE centre to all families in the community.
