1. I accompanied my daughter for about half an hour at her beginning. I heard an educator call the children for an activity, saying “Come for the photos.” This made me suspicious that the photos of “everyday activities” were actually staged.
2. When I dropped her off and stayed for about 15 minutes, I witnessed a boy crying at a table for over 15 minutes. He was ignored by all around 3 educators, and no one came to check on him or comfort him.
3. I called the centre manager on a Monday to ask about the registration cancellation notice period. My daughter was registered from Monday to Wednesday, and she told me the notice period was 2 weeks. She also said that if I sent written notice that day, the last day would be Wednesday of the following week. However, when I later sent a cancellation email on a Monday morning, based on her information, the manager told me the last day would be the Monday of the week after the next, rather than the Wednesday of next week. When I questioned this, she said that was DEFINITELY not what she said.
4. After leaving the centre for a month, my bank account was charged without any prior notice or invoice issued (we never receive an invoice from the centre, seems no invoice issued). I requested a payment summary (which could not be viewed in Xplor) and asked for the direct debit to be cancelled from their end (as it cannot be done by parents, which I believe is not reasonable). The centre manager has not responded.
