The most unorganised and unwilling to help, child care centre that I’ve come across. I put my daughter’s name down on the waitlist when she was just born because this was the only council run centre in my area. I called them so many times and only today i was able to reach them. I told them my daughter is on the waitlist and want to check when i get a place. The person i spoke to was absolutely unfriendly, not wanting to help in any way. She asked me to call her 4 weeks before i wanted to start as the list is lengthy and then she will check if she can give my daughter a place. I asked her if i am likely to get a place in 4 weeks notice as this seems really short and she told me she can’t tell me as some families have been waiting for years. I asked her to check my place on the waitlist which she refused to do. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star

1. I accompanied my daughter for about half an hour at her beginning. I heard an educator call the children for an activity, saying “Come for the photos.” This made me suspicious that the photos of “everyday activities” were actually staged. 2. When I dropped her off and stayed for about 15 minutes, I witnessed a boy crying at a table for over 15 minutes. He was ignored by all around 3 educators, and no one came to check on him or comfort him. 3. I called the centre manager on a Monday to ask about the registration cancellation notice period. My daughter was registered from Monday to Wednesday, and she told me the notice period was 2 weeks. She also said that if I sent written notice that day, the last day would be Wednesday of the following week. However, when I later sent a cancellation email on a Monday morning, based on her information, the manager told me the last day would be the Monday of the week after the next, rather than the Wednesday of next week. When I questioned this, she said that was DEFINITELY not what she said. 4. After leaving the centre for a month, my bank account was charged without any prior notice or invoice issued (we never receive an invoice from the centre, seems no invoice issued). I requested a payment summary (which could not be viewed in Xplor) and asked for the direct debit to be cancelled from their end (as it cannot be done by parents, which I believe is not reasonable). The centre manager has not responded.

My children attend North rocks child care, and have previously attended other centres in the area. They are the happiest they have ever been when attending child care. We absolutely adore the child care workers and they work extremely hard to make the children’s day fun and enjoyable and then communicate with us every afternoon at pick up. They have built an excellent relationship with our children and also our extended family. We are very thankful to have found North Rocks, and as a Primary School Teacher, it is wonderful to see a Centre looking after our children so well.

Two of my children go here, the ladies are lovely to the kids and take care of the kids well. Big play ground area in the back for the kids to play in!

NRCCC felt like you were leaving your children in loving care of the educators and adventures of learning and fun. We always had comfort that we had our children looked from drop off to pick up.

It was a better child care 1 year ago, but now things changed with the new management. My kid has had injuries 2 times and the centre manager showed no professionalism and sympthy. We compromised to avoid the same misbehaved kid for other days and they wouldn't even waive the 2 wks notice, what a joke! It seems like money means more than kids' safety.

Last year. My little 1 year old girl was dragged on the floor by elderly kids and her tummy was badly injured. Teacher seems didn’t keep a proper look out. I was beyond shocked and transferred her straight away

When teacher told my child" Come in quick, I don't have time today..." I was beyond shocked.

Child care with BEST money value and good education care quality in the area. My boys loved their teachers and made friends here!
