Nature is an important part of the program, teaching the children to respect and care for the environment. The children learn how vegetables grow and enjoy nature play activities. They understand the calm of spending time outdoors and enjoy all of nature’s creations.

Health and wellbeing is another focus of the program. The children learn about healthy eating and nutrition through the meals prepared by the centre chef. The centre also worked with allied health professionals, including speech pathologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to ensure the children have every opportunity to thrive.

Hello, I’m Theresa, the Service Manager at Eden Academy Footscray. With 19 years of industry experience and multiple qualifications including a Diploma in Children Services, Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, and Educational Support Integration Aid Certificate, I strive for success in providing high-quality education and care for children.

At Eden Academy Footscray, I work closely with educators to foster their professional growth and ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children. The curriculum is delivered across four different learning environments:
