l did a tour today the lady was absolutely gorgeous who showed me around. Mona was a real gem helping fill out my enrolment cant wait for my baby to start.

This is my personal experience at Eden Academy Footscray. Muna treats staff in a very unprofessional and harsh way. Her communication is often rude, dismissive, and makes people feel uncomfortable. I strongly believe this is unacceptable behavior for anyone working in early childhood education. Theresa is kind and professional, but it seems she does not take action regarding her assistant’s behavior. Students doing their placement are often ignored and undervalued. Most of the time, they are only used as cleaners instead of having their time and learning respected. From my experience, the environment can be emotionally challenging and discouraging. In conclusion, I believe the leadership should seriously reflect on their actions. If you have the opportunity to do your placement here, I would advise against it—it can be a very difficult and unpleasant experience.

We love the nursery team at Eden! Our bubs has been in since 5 months old, and the team is well equipped and so caring for all of the bubs in the room. They are excited to share in their milestones, and you can genuinely see how much they love all of their little ones. I have never experienced anything but an organized and calm room (as much as it can be in a nursery!) - and witnessed on multiple occasions educators teaching core values such as sharing and patience in a calm manner (as opposed to other centers where I have witnessed either the educators lacking the time/capacity to break up a toddler spat, or have ran out of patience themselves to take the opportunity to teach in the moment). Our bubs has learnt so much from the wonderful team, and is so excited to go to care everyday. It honestly makes the mum-guilt just that little more bearable knowing how happy she is.

As our daughter approaches the end of her third year at Eden Academy, we are filled with gratitude for the nurturing, enriching, and joyful experience she’s had. From the very beginning, Eden has been more than just a childcare centre — it’s been a second home where she has grown, learned, and thrived. We want to extend our deepest thanks to the incredible team of educators who have supported her every step of the way: Rhyssa, Sihiba, Niraj, Suzan, Pat, Jess, Shalini, Lilli, Lien, Ador, Anjali, Kuljit, Monti, and Muna. Each of you has brought something special into her life — from creative learning experiences to warm encouragement, love, and care. A big thank-you to Jess the chef — her delicious, nutritious meals have been a daily highlight. The food is always thoughtful, varied, and made with love, bringing joy to every mealtime. She has grown so much, and Eden Academy has been a big part of that. Thank you for the care and creativity — truly one of Footscray’s best!

The educators were lovely, but we withdrew our child because there constantly seemed to be new/different staff looking after him. After the first few weeks we no longer knew who his educators were. The reception/administration service is also quite poor, and it took nearly two weeks for someone to answer my enquiries about why we were continuing to be charged by Eden Academy weeks after our child left the service.
