My son attended Kate's Place in Toowoomba from 2022 until the end of 2024, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better early learning experience for him. From day one, the entire team was incredibly welcoming, supportive, and genuinely caring. The consistency in staffing was outstanding—there was no staff turnover, which meant my son was always surrounded by familiar, trusted educators who truly got to know him, his personality, and his needs. The educators at Kate’s Place go above and beyond to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to learn, explore, and grow. They take the time to build real connections with the kids and families, making us feel like part of a community rather than just another enrolment. My son absolutely thrived during his time there—he was always excited to go, made wonderful friendships, and developed so many important skills along the way. I can’t thank the team enough for the love, patience, and dedication they pour into their work every single day. If you’re looking for an early learning centre that truly puts children first, I highly recommend Kate’s Place. Welcome to our nurturing haven! Since 1993, we've been proudly serving Toowoomba with exceptional kindergarten and child care education services. As a close-knit, family-owned business, Kate's Place is managed by Kate, along with her siblings Justin and Anthony, who acquired the service from their cherished parents, Noel & Linda Davies, in 2018.
Our roots trace back to the humble beginnings created by Noel & Linda, who established their first service in 1993, naming it after Kate, their youngest daughter. With Noel and Linda's retirement in 2020, our center, Kate's Place Middle Ridge, proudly stands as the sole remaining Kate's Place Centre.
At the heart of our center resides a team of professional, dedicated, and nurturing educators, each equipped with diverse child care qualifications and extensive experience. When selecting our staff, we prioritize not only their credentials but also their passion for teaching and genuine affection for children. For young minds, it's crucial to be under the care of someone who truly delights in their company.
