Our To BE Me learning program helps you see your child’s learning adventure in a whole new light. Their pathway is personalised, with every milestone captured in a way that makes the link between play and learning clear and memorable.
The NSW Government offers funding to subsidise the cost of preschool in long day care. For 3-year-old’s this is between $423-$769 and for 4-year-olds between $1,783-$2,563. This support is in addition to the Child Care Subsidy and can help to lower your out-of-pocket fees. Ask for more details when you tour the centre.

To BE Me is Guardian’s exclusive learning program specifically designed for each age and stage of your child’s early years.
The program includes resources and tools that support learning and make it easy to see your child’s progress along Learning and Development Pathways.
It groups your child’s learning into seven areas to help you see this progress clearly. Each of these areas has behaviours or skills that are generally linked to each age and stage.
Children receive their own My Learning and Development Book, which is updated regularly with their progress.

We are extremely happy with everything at Guardian Balmain. The centre is wonderful in every aspect, the children enjoy freshly made, on-site meals, and the educators are absolutely fantastic. One thing we truly value is the stability of the staff, which makes such a difference for both the children and the families. The centre also has a spacious outdoor area where the children can play and explore, and the toys and educational resources are constantly being upgraded, keeping the environment engaging, stimulating, and age appropriate. Communication with parents is excellent. The team genuinely listens, actively asks for feedback and ideas, and most importantly, actually puts them into action, which makes us feel very heard and involved. A special mention to Maria, who always goes above and beyond her responsibilities. She is incredibly caring, approachable, and always happy to stop for a chat. Her dedication really stands out. We highly recommend Guardian Balmain to any family looking for a caring, well-run, and supportive childcare centre.
