By far the best centre we ever had, and I got 3 kids over the years in different centres. Only thing I regret is not having my other two attend ACC, as a new parent I had no idea, but now after years of comparison, errors and trials, experience speaks for itself, ACC stands out for a reason. They are truly not for profit, not thinking of ways to rip off families or exploit workers. They look after the children and their staffs, they have families and wellbeing in mind. Management is great and consistent, Fiona is not any manager or director, she is a true leader. And the teachers, educators, all staff are excellent. Children thrive in such consistent and supportive environment, and nurture trustful relationships.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have chosen ACC as my children's childcare provider. Both of my children are currently attending ACC, and they absolutely love it. The Centre offers a wide range of activities, but what truly stands out is their focus on nurturing the children’s emotional and mental development. I've noticed that my children have developed many positive skills and respond with resilience and optimism when faced with challenges, a reflection of the positive guidance they receive. When my first baby started in the baby room, the Wombat team was so patient and nurturing. They went above and beyond to ensure my baby felt comforted. As a sensitive child, it took her a bit longer to adjust to new surroundings, but the educators were amazing at keeping me informed when she had settled down, which truly eased my worries. For any new parent, building trust with a childcare centre is so important, and I feel incredibly lucky that ACC made this process so seamless. I felt completely at ease leaving my baby in their care. ACC also has very low staff turnover, which speaks volumes about the positive and supportive environment they’ve created. The Centre manager works tirelessly to ensure that both the Centre and the families are well-supported and cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for my children.

I cannot recommend Ashwood Children's Centre highly enough. The dedication and effort that Fiona, Jodie and the team put into our children's education and wellbeing is something that I wouldn't be able to express in its entirety in this review alone (I could give so many examples!). They have created a safe, nurturing space that all three of my children have, and have had, the privilege of attending, spanning over the past 8 years. ACC is not just a childcare facility for us, but has very much become a part of our family; celebrating our personal highs, having our backs when we've needed support and wrapping their arms around us when times have been challenging. We cannot thank the team enough for helping the community raise bright, creative, healthy, resilient children that are sprinkled throughout Ashwood and surrounds; giving them the best foundation for all the adventures ahead of them.

Our third child currently attends here but if you count the others our family had been attending almost 8 years and counting. The staff are enthusiastic and engaged. They have great staff retention (many have been there longer than us). Great spaces for kids to play and learn, and our kids have made friendships that they carried into primary school. We were first attracted by the guinea pigs, chooks, garden, and opportunities for messy and imaginative play outdoors. But it is really the staff and management that make it a great centre. I couldn't speak highly enough of it.

I couldn't be more grateful for all the care, love, and engagement from the staff at ACC. Both of my daughters attended ACC, and I always felt they were safe, well-fed, emotionally supported, and having fun while learning. Fiona has been there for what seems like forever, dedicating every bit of her energy to the place and constantly striving for improvement.

I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have ACC and its amazing team caring for my two kids. Fiona is a true star, and every member of the ACC team is caring, kind, professional, and supportive. They create a nurturing environment where my children can grow, learn, and thrive. The many fun and meaningful events Fiona has organised are fantastic and unmatched. Additionally, the extremely low turnover rate among educators and teachers means that, over the past four years, we've consistently seen familiar faces. This stability truly enhances the children's sense of trust and comfort. Thank you for all that you do!

Incredible kindergarten with wonderful and dedicated educators. My son has been there 3 years and enjoys his time so much in ACC. The educational program they deliver is very stimulating and engaging, based on children’s interests and developmental needs. They also provide great consistency of practice you always see familiar faces of educators in the classroom. They are professional, supportive, and really care about children. Highly recommend!
