We’ve been at Cressy Road for 4.5 years and when we compared it to other options we preferred the large outdoor spaces and friendly and accessible staff. Our son has thrived at Cressy Road. The support team are always on top of whats going on and respond immediately to any queries which gives us peace of mind

As much as we can, the children are outside in the fresh air, learning through nature play. We minimise screen time, and instead you'll see our educators reading stories and teaching the children in the garden, in the sandpit, on the grass, or balancing on the slack line.
The safety standards we have always implemented are what the rest of the country is now catching up to. We have never had a breech of regulation or concern raised - you can see this on government websites. Our team's first priority is always the safety and wellbeing of your child. Any concerns are taken seriously and acted upon, and we review with staff at regular meetings safety protocols, discussing issues, hypothetical situation and instilling the fundamental policies, practices and culture that ensure children are cared for.
Getting to know your educators is vital for children and families. Children need to feel loved and cared for before they are able to start 'learning'. (if your brain is full of the stress hormone cortisol you literally can't lay down memories). This is achieved through strong connections with primary carers and a regular team of educators. Some of our team have been working together for over 20 years, and our turnover rate is significantly lower than the industry average. Yes, from time to time we will have casual staff (a good virus will do that occasionally. And yes, we will have students onsite - the only way we can build great new educators is by giving them practical experience in a high quality service like ours. They are always supervised by experienced staff. Come and talk to our team and find out why they work with us long term - or check out this video - https://f.io/Raw0pH5o
For us, care doesn't start and stop with our children, it includes the whole family. You will feel like a part of the 'cressy community' when you join us. Whether you come along to family events throughout the year, or drop in to read a story or bake some cookies, there's plenty for you to be involved with as well! We have plenty of parenting resources and a team of experienced educators who have had children themselves and are more than happy to sit down and work with you through any challenges.
