Such a great centre, we have attended playgroup here for 2.5 years and my son just recently started day-care. The staff are fantastic and i believe they're why my son has settled in so well.

I had a very thorough experience with the Centre. Firstly I attended new parents' group for several weeks, which was very well organised and structured, and a magnificent opportunity to meet new parents (all of which I'm still in touch with after 2 years and since we all moved away from Port Melbourne). I also attended the maternal child health appointments with a brilliant nurse Kate, who was very caring and supportive and absolutely phenomenal with my child. Additionally, the Centre ran several talks for new parents. I then attended a new playgroup created by our parents' group which was a great opportunity for our children to continue to play and learn together, and to socialise during our earlier, more isolating days of parenthood. Finally, my child attended the childcare there when I went back to work. While the admin was a little iffy, I can't stress enough how amazing the teachers in the infant room were. They were loving and truly cared about each child, and had wonderful events running throughout the year to encourage parent collaboration which made the Centre have even more of a community feel. We were sad to have to leave! The Centre truly is a hub for new parents in Port Melbourne.
