My daughter has been attending possum since October 2024. As a new parent I was worried about how she would settle in and go with daycare, but possum made the transition seamless. It has a homey feel to it which kids just feel safe and comfortable the minute they step in! As my daughter has grown, she loves it more and more with their options of outside play and wonderfully thought out activities. We are extremely happy with the educators and the love and care they show our children during their time at Possum.

We have been a happy and engaged part of the Possum Magic family for over five years. During this time, we have seen first-hand how the leadership team has helped both of our sons thrive. They are open, transparent, and proactive in their communication, and they consistently ensure that children are immersed in a safe, nurturing and fun environment.<br><br>The educators genuinely care about each child’s learning and development, continually creating new, engaging, and age-appropriate activities that encourage both learning and play. Possum Magic is one of those rare places where you feel as if a family is caring for your children. My son has been attending here for over a year now and I cannot recommend it enough to other parents and friends. The activities and developmentally appropriate play based learning organised by Alan, Dip and the amazing educators is both engaging and fun for everyone involved and all the staff consistently go above and beyond to care for the children across the different rooms. My son’s learning and awareness of the world and others around him has developed so much since starting here. It truly is a wonderful centre.

My daughter has been here since she was 9 months. The team are absolutely incredible! They are attentive, kind, patient & it's like a big family. I was so nervous sending my baby into a place without me & they have made it incredibly easy & stress free. I'm SO glad I found these guys!! My daughter loves them & is happy every day she gets dropped off. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Possum Magic offers a comprehensive educational program, including Rocking Horse Music every Thursday.
Nutritious Meals: Morning Tea, Cooked Lunch, Dessert, Afternoon Tea and a Late Snack.

At Possum Magic our philosophy is to provide a happy, warm and stimulating environment for all children.
We will provide support for the children to grow and develop to their individual full potential. We will always provide positive encouragement, support and opportunities for the children to explore their environment in a safe and nurturing way.
Staff will always acknowledge the children’s efforts and praise their individual milestones.
We will ensure that the children are given opportunities to explore life experiences that will enable them to understand the uniqueness of all cultures and gender. Through adult role modeling children will develop an understanding of other unique cultures and become tolerant towards others and their abilities and beliefs. We will develop this attitude towards others through kindness, love and respect.
Possum is committed to providing an environment that offers children the opportunity to express themselves as individuals, to be able to participate in play through a wide range of activities and resources. To support an environment that is non judgmental, friendly, secure and encourages an anti-bias approach to children’s play and interactions.
We will include and respect the needs of all the children by building an understanding of their cultural backgrounds and abilities and continuing to create an environment that encompasses the beliefs and expectations of the staff and parents.
