Active Kids Gatton, located within the University of Queensland – Gatton Campus, is a conveniently positioned early learning service proudly supporting university staff, students, and families across the wider Lockyer Valley community. Our central location also makes us ideal for families commuting between Brisbane and Toowoomba for work or study.

Operating from 6am to 6pm, we provide flexible long day care and sessional care options designed to support busy working families. A courtesy bus is also available, offering routine and casual pick-ups and drop-offs to improve access for families across surrounding Gatton suburbs.

At Active Kids Gatton, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging. Our qualified and dedicated educators create meaningful, play-based learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and independence.

Children enjoy three nutritious, well-balanced meals daily, freshly prepared on-site by our qualified cook with Food Handling certification. Health, wellbeing, and care are central to our everyday practice.

Our expansive outdoor environment offers rich opportunities for exploration and discovery, featuring an adventure playground, sensory areas, an extensive bike track, vegetable gardens, swings, sandpit, fishpond, and natural garden spaces that encourage connection with nature and active play.

We also offer a Before and After School Care Program servicing local primary schools across the Lockyer Valley, as well as a Vacation Care Program during school holidays. These programs are thoughtfully designed in collaboration with children and families to ensure engaging, inclusive, and fun experiences that reflect children’s interests and family needs.
