We absolutely loved our time at Owl and The Pussycat Preschool for all 3 of our children. We have recently moved out of Sydney and therefore no longer attend the centre and I cannot tell you how sad it makes me that I had to find a new kindy for my youngest to attend. Sam and his team are so professional in their communication and their running of the centre while also feeling like an extension of your family. The care they provide and the supporting and nurturing environment they have created is absolutely amazing and you feel nothing but 100 percent confident in leaving your children there each day. Each teacher knows the parents and all of the children and what I also really liked is that the staff turnover rate is extremely low. The teachers we had in 2020 for my first child were the same in 2026 for my last. If I could create an exact copy of this centre and its staff and move it to my new remote location I would!

Our daughter spent 3 amazing years at Owl and the Pussycat on Collaroy Plateau. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to her education experience with the team being so attentive, caring and giving her the best start possible to her primary school career. Thanks Sam and team!

Fantastic Preschool. Very welcoming and warm feel from the start. Our son settled in so quickly and loves attending. The Admin communication is also on point and we always feel we are up to date on things happening around the centre. Highly recommend

We feel incredibly lucky to have had all three children attend Owl and the Pussycat collaroy plateau. From the very beginning, it was clear that this centre is something truly special. The educators are warm, nurturing and approachable. I felt the most comfortable leaving my kids to head off the work for the day. It was the best start for our children. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our son Liam has been attending The Owl and the Pussycat Early Learning Centre in Collaroy since the beginning of this year, and we honestly could not be happier with our experience. From the very first day, we felt that this place was something special. The centre has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere — it truly feels like a small community where every child is known, valued and cared for. The educators are simply wonderful. They are kind, attentive and deeply committed to the children, and it is clear that they genuinely love what they do. The leadership of the centre really stands out. The director and owner clearly hold very high standards for care, education and respect for each child as an individual. That philosophy is felt throughout the entire team. Every staff member we’ve encountered has shown patience, warmth and professionalism. One of the highlights for us as parents is receiving the daily photos and updates. They are beautiful and thoughtful, and they allow us to see Liam’s day unfold — the friendships, the creativity, the outdoor play and the learning moments. It gives us such peace of mind and joy to see how happy and engaged he is. Most importantly, Liam is absolutely flourishing. His confidence, curiosity and social skills have grown so much since starting here. Seeing him run in happily each morning and talk about his friends and educators when he comes home says everything. We feel incredibly grateful to have found such a nurturing environment where our son can grow, learn and build friendships. The Owl and the Pussycat is a truly special place, and we cannot thank the entire team enough for the love and care they give to the children every day. Brilliant day care which had a huge impact on the resilience and values of our kids. Love the sense of community they’ve built and all the extra activities to foster a family feel (Dadcamp, trivia nights, paint and sip).
