The management team at The Village ELC Sandringham is the most frustrating and unreliable group of people to reason with. After attending an inspection of the Centre earlier this year they requested registration fee so to have our son go onto a waiting list suggesting that it could take up to two months for a place to be available. The fee was paid in good faith. nine months on, no place and no idea on when there could be a place for our son. Later found that the registration fee was non refundable so we were deceived in paying it on the proviso that there would be a place within a reasonable time. Complaints to the Centre have fallen on deaf ears and all they keep saying is we are welcome to withdraw the application and forfeit the fee. Many calls have been made to centre owner, Tina Ferguson but no return phone call and it seems that now our numbers are being screened so every time we call we go straight to voice mail. This team cannot be trusted and all we can say is think twice before registering. They are not as good as they believe they are.

Interestingly The Village Early Centre people responded to our review as expected but in a most dishonest manner. Missing the point entirely. Offering no customer service at all and wishing us luck with our son on getting a placement elsewhere which is also an admission that they did cancel his registration without our knowledge and or approval but still they refuse to admit deceitful practices to bolster registration numbers and also refuse to refund the registration fee. By way of correction what is disappointing is since we registered our son early this year we did not receive one email or update from the Centre and our phone calls went unanswered for the last three months or so. Finally in its review response the Centre named our son which is a clear breach of standards and privacy considering he is still an infant. Again we warn people to be very careful before registering with this Centre. They are deceitful, unethical and outright dishonest and cannot be trusted.

It’s in the name, and I’ve found it at The Village ELC ❤️ Without my family nearby, this daycare has become so much more than just a place for my little one, it’s been our support system, my child’s second home, and honestly, my village in every sense of the word. Not only have we found wonderful educators, but we’ve also met a lovely community of families here, which has made this season of parenthood feel much more connected and supported. The educators are absolutely amazing. The love, care, and genuine attention they give the children are really special, and my child completely adores them. Knowing they are safe, happy, and thriving each day gives me such peace of mind as a parent. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of The Village and are excited to grow with them for many years to come.

We are incredibly grateful to The Village for creating such a safe, nurturing environment for our son to learn, play, and grow alongside his friends. He always looks forward to going to school and especially loves starting his mornings with cuddles from his wonderful teachers - Georgia, Lauren, Sarah, and Praisy, as well as all the amazing teachers in Junior 3’s. The Village has truly become a second home for him, and we highly recommend this school to any family seeking a caring and supportive learning community. - Ian’s Mommy and Daddy

We placed a review on unethical and deceitful conduct of The Village Early Learning Centre in Sandringham and interestingly but as expected they responded to our review in a most dishonest manner as a lot of companies do when they want to defend themselves rather than contacting the customer and making amends. By way of correction to the centre’s response which claims that we are frustrated as we didn’t get a place after 10 months, what is disappointing is since we registered our son earlier this year we did not receive one email or update from the Centre other to a response to our complaint and after that when trying to contact the Centre manager/owner Tina Ferguson, our phone calls went unanswered for the last three months or so looks like we are being ignored and screened. Finally and worse of all in its review response the Centre named our son which is a clear breach of standards and privacy considering he is still an infant. Again we warn people to be very careful before registering with this Centre. They are deceitful, unethical and outright dishonest and cannot be trusted.
