Like any first time parent, we were so nervous about sending our precious little one to daycare. However, our daughter Zoe has been at Goodstart for 7 months now and we are so glad we found this centre. The centre is clean, meals are great for the little ones, but most importantly, Zoe has formed great relationships with the most amazing, caring educators. Goodstart Early Learning Centre, Port Rd is a fantastic facility. It offers children a safe environment to play, learn, and build skills and friendships. The centre's staff are warm and caring. Everyone from the Director to Admin is experienced at meeting children's and parents' needs. The educators facilitate quality programs and learning opportunities to keep children engaged and happy throughout their day. I highly recommend this centre for all children prior to starting school.

My two girls have been attending Goodstart Cheltenham for a couple of years now. We adore our center director and all of the educators. The bonds and strong connections built with our children (and us as parents) are priceless. We have had trying times over the past 18 mths and have felt nothing but love and support to help us through. Our girls growth and development have come leaps and bounds, we work together with the educators to overcome obstacles and communication has been great! Most days they don’t even want to come home cos they love childcare so much! Highly recommend the center and couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of their community 💖🙏

I cannot praise this centre enough! The care provided here is EXCEPTIONAL. I have been to multiple childcares now in order to find the right one and finally I can say I have never had a better experience. Each child's learning is approached to your child's individual needs, they take their time to ensure theyre treated as an individual and not just another number. The approach is treated as a family and you can only praise and praise how much effort is put into their learning approach and welcoming, warm atmosphere. No matter the area each teacher willl welcome you with open arms (even if they dont have your child as in their room) I know each and every day my son is in good hands. Kate's approach to pre school education program is exceptional and each day my son comes home with something new hes learnt and nothing but a smile. No matter the problem, big or small they will inform you of your child's day and keep you up to date of everything instead of leaving it till the end of the day, you know they care. Are flexible and always willing to accommodate to your last minute bookings or swap around with bookings. Keep doing all that you guys do because your hard work does not go unnoticed!

Goodstart Cheltenham Review: Goodstart claims ‘We’re for children, not profit’, however, will not support a permanent three week rotating roster. So, if you’re working in emergency services or work shift work do not even attempt to go here. The Centre Director at this stage seeks permanent bookings. Care for your child is secondary to making sure they’ve got their numbers. We were welcomed with open arms during COVID as their numbers were down. As soon as they became busier they ‘couldn’t support our casual bookings’. Was told they would consider some of our bookings but after 2 weeks I gave up waiting. Also, be sure to tell them about every allergy your child has - write it, tell each staff member. We never received any paperwork during the 4 months at the Centre so used their recommended apps (Xap and Storypark) to furnish meticulous details about our child, including allergies. Because of ‘systems, you know how systems are’ our child was given egg. He had a rash over his body for 4 days, diarrhea and I had to take time off work to care for him - all whilst paying for the pleasure!!!! Considering I could tell them what I’m working 50 years from now and paying for a 12 hour day (only using 8hrs). They have ostracized our situation and the care for our child. Their negligence has compromised his safety. The Centre itself is beautiful and spacious and carers are generally friendly. But, be warned. They are not necessarily for children. They are for profit.

It feels like yesterday when we got our daughter Anahat Brar, enrolled into Goodstart, port Road. This place, indeed, has a soul of nurturing our little souls. Thank you for bringing out the best in my child (in fact every child) and helping her grow a lovely human being. Thank you for teaching my daughter how to think rather than what to think. Starting with “Goodstart” was the “Beststart” for us and we are so very grateful to each member of the Goodstart family for their contribution.

Fantastic place. There have been a lot of changes in the centre since my son began, however the friendly staff have made sure the transitions were as smooth as possible and my kiddo had no issues adjusting. He runs to the door with excitement. Cathy is our key educator and we feel very lucky to have her. Leaving your kids in someone else hands can be daunting but her easygoing attitude and friendly nature makes it so much easier. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work, particularly during these troublesome times😁

My daughter absolutely loves attending Goodstart. The educators take such great care of her, and she has learnt so much during her time there. They are great at communicating what the children have been up to each day. Would highly recommend this centre to anyone in the area :)

Great childcare, we have both our children at the centre. The children connect with the all the staff and enjoy their time there. The centre has been excellent especially with the extra 1on 1 care with our son when he was younger.

Staff and educators are great. They really enjoy their jobs and it shows with how they interact with the children.
