An amazing team led by Shira. I have had the pleasure of working with Shira for nearly 6 years with my children attending Edge. They are an exceptional team who really look out for the kids and their best interest. They're an irreplaceable, and I would follow them pretty much anywhere. I say this as a specialist in child protection, I've never felt like it was an unsafe place for my kids.

Meet the team

My journey at Edge Milton began the day I enrolled my own child here. I felt an immediate sense of connection and security that never left, and I've been part of this community ever since, growing from educator through to Centre Director. I bring 10 years of experience in early childhood education, grounded in infant pedagogy and early childhood psychology.

Listening to children's voices and letting their curiosity guide the learning environment is something I care deeply about. I'm also a strong believer in slow pedagogy, taking the time to really connect with children, listen with intention, and build the kind of meaningful relationships that support their development and sense of belonging. Living locally in Milton means I'm genuinely woven into this community. I've watched many children grow here, and in some cases, welcomed their younger siblings too. Come meet our team.

Our daughter started at Edge when she was 12 months old. The staff, from the educators to the admin to all the support staff, are all warm, sincere, and genuinely caring.
Our daughter adores her class, her friends, her teachers. Whatever time of day we have stopped by she has been happily engaged and in active play. She often wants to stay longer and show us objects or activities she has taken part in. The educators are so fond of her and we really feel their investment in the children and their incredible skill.
Thank you to Shira, Kittu, Riley, Stella and the team.

Both of our children have attended Edge Early Learning Milton since they were under one year old, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The educators are caring and supportive, and our son has made many great friends there. We've also enjoyed getting to know other families through the centre. We especially love the extra touches, such as the exciting excursions and the birthday celebrations, where the kitchen team prepares a cake for the children to enjoy with their friends. Thank you to the wonderful team at Edge Milton for creating such a warm and welcoming environment for our kids!
