I highly recommend Kindy Patch. It has been the best decision we made for my very clingy 1 year old.

Transition wasn’t easy for my daughter. But the educators have been so patient and caring with her. They have been very accommodating with her sleeping arrangements when she refused to sleep in the cot. They would try to lay next to her on a floor bed, let her sleep on them, or rock her to sleep. A few months in, and my daughter has come such a long way. She would happily go to an educator at drop off, she puts herself to sleep in the cot, and waves and says hello to everyone.

Because it’s a relatively small daycare, most educators know all the kids and really care for them. I also like that the nursery area is fenced but the babies can see the other kids playing around. The older kids dote on the nursery babies and it’s so lovely to see. When I pick up my daughter, everyone says goodbye to her and she has the biggest smile.

After a terrible experience with an early childhood education service with our eldest, finding the right service for our family became incredibly important to us. After visiting and touring so many centres, I happened to come across Kindy Patch and the rest, as they say, is history.

Since 2020, Kindy Patch has been such an important part of our family’s village. Over the years, three of our children have been welcomed, supported and nurtured here, each with their own unique needs and challenges.

Our middle daughter started Kindergarten still in nappies due to medical issues, and within that year, with the patience, understanding and support of her educators, she became fully toilet trained and ready to take the next step into Prep.

Our son arrived as a non-verbal senior toddler (junior kindy) and left Kindergarten as a wonderfully chatty four-year-old. Watching his confidence, communication and personality blossom has been something we will always treasure.

And then there’s our youngest, who has always found separation incredibly difficult. Yet somehow, every time, she has found comfort and security here. The arms of her educators have become her second home, a place where she feels safe, loved and understood.

Kindy Patch has been so much more than an early childhood service to our family. They have been part of our village, our support system and some of the most important years of our children’s lives. They have celebrated our children’s achievements, supported them through their challenges and loved them for exactly who they are.

As our journey with Kindy Patch slowly comes to an end, I honestly don’t know what we will do without them. The thought of leaving a place that has been such a constant in our lives since 2020 is incredibly bittersweet.

We will be leaving with an enormous amount of gratitude, countless memories and a very full heart. We will miss our Kindy Patch family more than words can say, and we will be forever grateful for the role they have played in helping our children grow, flourish and become the little people they are today.

5 stars just doesn’t feel like enough. I couldn’t speak any highly of this centre, if I tried. The staff, facilities, management, curriculum all exceed any expectations. My children’s home away from home, and such a safe place.
We love kindy patch Grovely and couldn’t ask to be apart of a greater community.

I chose Kindy Patch Grovely based on a friend’s recommendation and the amazing staff retention, and I’m so glad we did. You hear about high staff turnover in day care but not for Kindy Patch Grovely- it is lovely for my children to be a part of a place where staff are happy and enjoy each other. Mel has been there the longest- 16 + years! For me, consistent relationships are one of the most important parts of a child’s development because they help children feel safe, secure and loved. That’s exactly what Kindy Patch offers.

The educators create great programs that embed practical concepts such as being gentle, social boundaries, name writing and visual checklists for packing their bags. My daughter especially loves Bush Kindy and has grown up alongside many of the same children she’s known since the nursery. I am amazed with what the kindy kids learn. Olivian is a lovely Kindy teacher.

Kindy Patch has become like a second family to them. My kids feel safe with the staff and the children there. The easy drop-off and safe parking are a bonus too!

I can't recommend Kindy Patch Grovely highly enough. The care, dedication, and genuine support the educators provide every day has been incredible to watch.

My son turned two in April, and the progress he has made since attending has been amazing. My son started in the nursery room at 16 months old. From then to now, he can recognise and point out numbers 2, 4, and 6, sing his ABCs, identify every body part, and he's now speaking in full sentences. It has been such a joy to see his confidence, communication, and love of learning grow.

The educators have created such a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child is encouraged to learn through play while feeling safe, supported, and valued. It's clear they genuinely care about each child's individual development and celebrate every milestone, big or small.

As a parent, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is happy, excited to go to kindy, and thriving. I am so grateful to the entire team at Kindy Patch Grovely for the love, patience, and commitment they show every day. Thank you for helping my little boy flourish—I couldn't be happier with the care you've given him.

This daycare is a hidden gem. The staff are fantastic, supportive and so genuinely caring for our two children (aged 3 and 1). Our 3 year old often doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day as she’s having such a fun time and feels so connected to her community. You can tell the staff feel engaged and always have the time to speak with you and check in. The centre manager, Mystique, is very down to earth and communicative. Highly recommend this centre!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this daycare over the years. Both of my children have attended since they were babies, and I truly couldn’t speak more highly of the care they’ve received. As a parent, I’ve always felt supported and reassured. The team communicates openly and consistently, which has made a big difference in building trust and confidence. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children and their families. What stands out most is the strong relationships my kids have formed with their educators. They come home excited, sharing stories about their day, the activities they’ve done, and the fun they’ve had. It’s comforting to know they feel happy, safe, and engaged in their environment. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact this daycare has had on our family and would highly recommend it to other parents.

Mystique and her current team of educators genuinely care about not just my own child, but every child in their care. They are attentive, give consistent open communication even in the times of tough conversations and they’re committed to the wellbeing for the children helping them navigate through challenges whether temporary or lifelong. They have also been honest about mistakes made and go the distance to make things right which is more than I can say for many other centres we’ve been through! My son absolutely loves his time at Kindy, so thank you Mystique and big props to Miss Livvy as affectionately known as by her kindy class, and special mentions to all the staff who were still there on our return, always lovely to see a familiar face! Very grateful to be ending our kindy journey on a positive note in a supportive centre :-)
