I highly recommend Bluebird Koo Wee Rup daycare!!! The staff are incredibly welcoming each day.<br>The care they give each child is shown in how well the children settle in, the way they go above and beyond in communication and are truly understanding of what your child needs. My daughter has gone from being unsure of new people to loving being there and has really made a connection with her educator Niluka who is the kindest person I have met and just wants the best for each child!!!<br>Absolutely grateful for the informed tour Beau gave and a huge shoutout to Katie for her patience with my endless questions and finding the days we needed, and I can’t not sing Connie’s praises enough for her cooking and baking a real delicious cake at short notice too mind you!<br>These staff are nothing like I’ve met before at previous centres, they treat everyone as family and it shows in the environment they have created.<br>Very, very grateful for this centre!

Hello, my name is Beau, and I am the proud Centre Manager here at Bluebird Koo Wee Rup. I hold a Diploma of Education, and I am currently completing my Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
I have 6 years’ experience, working within Early Childhood Education and leadership roles, managing both private and not-for-profit Services. I believe that all children are powerful, capable learners, and I am committed to ensuring our programs honour their voices, interests and individual learning journeys.
I am dedicated to creating warm, welcoming, and inclusive learning environments for children and a special place where families and educators feel valued, respected and welcomed.
My own children were my inspiration to follow a career in Education, and my experiences as a parent guide my interactions with families, equipping me with a strong understanding of what your hopes and needs might be for our Service. Building strong and respectful relationships with families is important to me, and I look forward to getting to know you and your child.
I strongly believe that high-quality education has the power to make a difference in the lives of children and the wider community. This core belief brings me absolute joy in inspiring educators to create exceptional learning environments for children.

Kindy of Kindness - Initiatives may include visits to aged care facilities, baking for the local emergency services, and fund-raising projects to assist charity groups.
Sustainability Program - By taking part in daily sustainable living practices including recycling, composting, worm farming, energy and water saving, the children develop a working understanding of how they can play a vital role in protecting the environment.
Community connections - By forging strong community ties they enable the children to develop a deep sense of belonging and connection to the world around them, construct an understanding of how society works, and begin to recognise and respect the shared values that unite us.
Technology focus - Technology is introduced through a play based approach. Educators role model and assist children to gain new knowledge and to better understand concepts through the designated computer programs.
The centre believes in a hands-on approach to teaching children about food, which is why cooking classes are offered as part of the curriculum.
Children are encouraged to help out where they can, whether that’s chopping fruit for smoothies or pouring them out for everyone.
Food is used as a way to teach children about identifying their needs and attending to them. Children can access drink stations and fruit bowls for a quick snack.

I had a wonderful experience at Bluebird Koowe Rup Centre. Everything is very well organized, and the management is incredibly supportive and cooperative with both the staff and the parents.<br><br>The team is always thinking of new and engaging activities for the children, which creates a fun and enriching learning environment. They go above and beyond to support the staff and make every child feel comfortable, valued, and cared for.<br><br>What I appreciated most was the warm, loving, and welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that everyone genuinely cares about the children's wellbeing and development. I recently visited this service and was truly impressed by how welcoming, inviting, and well-presented it was. The environment was clean, organised, and thoughtfully set up to support children’s learning and development. What stood out the most was seeing the educators actively engaging with the children. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely involved in the children’s play and learning experiences. The interactions were positive, meaningful, and reflected strong relationships between the educators and children. The learning spaces were beautifully presented, with engaging resources and inviting environments that encouraged curiosity, exploration, and creativity. It was evident that a great deal of care and effort goes into maintaining the service and creating a space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. A wonderful service with dedicated educators and a beautiful environment. Highly recommended to any family looking for quality early childhood education and care.
