Discover a world where your child's imagination and curiosity will bloom.
The design motif of this new early learning is inspired by the natural world, drawing from the elegant forms of nautilus shells, snails, plants, whirlpools, and fossils. Just as Froebel's gifts were intended to awaken a child's awareness of the rhythmic structures in nature, the environment will be designed to support children's deep appreciation for the natural world. Children will experience this connection firsthand, from the breathtaking vistas throughout the centre to their interactions within our naturally landscaped spaces and the surrounding reserve.
Jerome Bruner's constructivist theory of the spiral curriculum will come to life in this setting as children actively engage with their surroundings. The design encourages children to move freely between indoor and outdoor spaces, facilitating play, exploration, and learning. These dynamic social spaces will help children construct knowledge, form meaningful relationships, and become active participants in their own educational journeys.
We are storytelling creatures, and as children, we acquire language to tell those stories that we have inside of us. Jerome Bruner
