We couldn’t be happier with Bay Explorers. My daughter absolutely loves attending—she even gets upset on her days off because she misses it so much. From the moment we arrive each day, we’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that truly sets the tone. The educators consistently go above and beyond for the children, creating a nurturing environment where my daughter feels genuinely loved, cared for, and supported. It’s wonderful to see how much she is learning and growing, with new and exciting activities introduced every day to keep the children engaged. To top it all off, the meals are incredible—so much so that my little girl often comes home asking me to recreate them! I’m so grateful for the care, dedication, and joy that Bay Explorers brings into our lives.

My son started in the Kindergarten Room at Bay Explorers this year after moving from another daycare, and the change has been absolutely amazing for him. He genuinely loves coming each day and always has the best time. He adores his educators and is always excited about the little excursions and activities they do. It’s been such a positive shift for our family, and I couldn’t recommend Bay Explorers more highly!

Bay Explorers is an amazing school for my son! The staff show heaps of care always update me on how his doing and his always coming home happy. They have a really good outdoor area to play in and take the kids on regular excursions. Definitely recommend!

Bay Explorerers are absolutely fantastic with my son (8 months) they genuinely care about the growth and development of all the children and form strong, trusting bonds to make the children feel safe. As a mum this eases my mind as I returned to work.

Great centre and lovely team. My little bub Mori started her day care journey since 9th Month. All teachers in nursery room are very supportive and caring. I feel stressfree to share my thoughts with them regarding my daughter's growth. Teachers always document and communicate well about bub's daily sleep eat play and learning, and always get me updated about bub's engagement in different activities. Also love the fresh food from kitchen. Just wanna say a big THANK YOU to director Nathan and nursery room teachers Miss Becky, Tyler, Mel and all other teachers looking after bub.

We absolutely love Bay Explorers Urraween! The centre came highly recommended by our family members, who all had such positive experiences, and we can see why. From the moment we arrived in Hervey Bay after moving from the UK, the team has been incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making our transition so much easier. Our little ones, 18 months and 2.5 years old, instantly connected with their educators—it’s so comforting to see how naturally they gravitate toward them. Drop-offs have never been completely tear-free, but having a warm and caring educator ready with open arms for a cuddle makes all the difference. Both rooms are filled with creative and engaging activities that our boys absolutely love, and the communication from the team is always clear and consistent, with wonderful weekly updates. The staff truly feel like family, always open to feedback and genuinely invested in the children’s happiness and wellbeing. We couldn’t recommend Bay Explorers Urraween more highly—it’s such a special place!

Such a beautiful place full of beautiful people, as a protective mother i have always had hesitation leaving my children with anyone. But to say the teachers at bay explorers are amazing is an understatement, its hard to find the words to describe how much they have been so wonderful in every aspect. They have helped me and my children all transition to care with love and grace and adapted to every situation with compassion and patience. After 4 years we are now like a big family and they have seen 2/3 of my children through to primary education preparing them and helping them in every way to grow and be ready for big adventures after kindy. My little ones are always sad to leave and always excited to go back. The love and care in this building is unmatched. Ive showed up at all times of the day and my children are always beaming, the place is always spotless and every teacher is smiling and playing, you can tell that everyone there truly loves and takes pride in what they do. Im very grateful for everyone here and will be a very sad day when I no longer have any of my babies there. Thank you bay explorers urraween.
