Our children and families have called this building home for seven years now, and I feel genuinely lucky to lead such a warm, connected community.

Early childhood chose me, in a way. I believe the earliest years of a child's life hold the most power. Watching children discover who they are, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning is both a privilege and a purpose I carry with me every day. I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and have moved through several roles across the sector, starting as a school-based apprentice and going on to room leader and educational leader before stepping into centre leadership.

What I treasure most are the relationships built within these walls. I feel privileged to lead a team of passionate educators and to be part of the journey for every child and family who walks through our doors. Together, we've built more than a centre - it's a place where people feel heard, supported, and part of something bigger. I'm also proud that our centre holds an Exceeding rating under the National Quality Standards, a genuine reflection of the care and quality our team brings every day.

• Our dedicated team prioritises safeguarding children through daily practices, educational programs, and adherence to national child safety principles.
• All Edge team members have completed the new mandatory national child safety training, covering child-safe cultures, children’s rights, and recognising and responding to abuse and neglect. This complements Edge’s broader mandatory training program across key child safety and wellbeing areas.
• Our supervisory and senior staff complete regular Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting training.
• We proudly work with Bravehearts and other similar child safety advocate organisations to strengthen the personal safety education within our programming.
• Our S.A.F.E. framework (Spot, Act, Fix, Explain) requires staff to speak up if they see or suspect something isn’t right. With S.A.F.E. in place, we have created a culture of accountability where reporting is expected and encouraged.
• Our Active Supervision policy ensures all team members understand the importance of Plan, Position, Look & Listen.

Edge Early Learning's bespoke education program Teach A Rainbow underpins learning in our preschool. Our preschool teacher and educators set children up for a confident start to school through equal focus on cognitive, physical, social and emotional development through both play-based and structured learning.

• Our preschool program is Government-approved and subsidised so you can access free preschool* at our centre in addition to any Childcare Subsidy your family is eligible for. *The 2025 free 3-year-old preschool program subsidises 15 hours a week of Government-approved preschool programs for eligible children. Your child will enjoy fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by our on-site chef, using recipes developed in collaboration with accredited dietitians at The Biting Truth. Designed with growing bodies in mind, our seasonal 4-week rotating menus are designed to be age-appropriate and nutritionally balanced, aligning with the Australian Dietary Guidelines to support healthy growth and development. Featuring a variety of whole foods and culturally inspired dishes, meals can be tailored to suit individual tastes, dietary needs, and allergy requirements—ensuring every child receives nourishing meals each day.
