Jess provides the utmost care for children. My daughter absolutely loves participating in all the activities, loves telling me about her day on the way home and asks when she can go again. Jess is very thorough as my daughter has quite a few medical conditions and communicates with me whilst in her care whenever she needs and even sends updates throughout the day. I highly recommend this service, its one that we treasure.

Jess is an amazing educator, down to earth and provides a safe and supportive environment for kids to thrive and learn. My 4yo needed more social interaction and as such I looked at several options to help with this. Family daycare was the answer and Jess was so flexible and reassuring and offered a time that suited our family perfect. My son was shy and usually took awhile to warm to people. But as soon as we met Jess, it was love at first sight! He instantly felt comfortable and secure and for the first time, left my arms without tears. That reaction, along with my instincts, made the decision easy and he attended each session happily. If I need to put him in care again, I’ll be knocking on Jess’s door!!

Very happy sending my girls to Jessica's family day care. Jess is very friendly and great with the kids. She does awesome activities with the kids and they really enjoy going. No tears when I drop my 3 year old there and have now started 1 year old there and she is doing great 😀

After a very through vetting process which involved many visits, because this was the first time I had left my child to anyone and I had been through about five daycares prior without any promising results, I decided to enroll my child with Jess. It wasn't even where I was at the point where I felt this was my last chance to get him in, it was because of the good feeling I had about her. You know when they tell you to trust your "mumma" instincts and go with your gut feeling. It was like that. My gut feeling was telling me that Jess was going to be the best thing for my child. And that feeling was correct. Not once did he ever cry or scream when we left, instead he would strut straight in like he owned the place and barely even looked back when we left. That alone tells me how comfortable he was with Jess and her family, not needing to resort to the comfort of his own to make it through the day. He even went in with a fear of grass and outdoor areas to come out of it loving the outdoors in such a short period of time through her encouragement. I didn't really have any strict routines and I have more of a go with the flow attitude, but Jess made sure the main routine that I had was stuck to in terms of nap and food so that way it was a better transition between home and being at childcare. He could not tell any different and if something happened that was out of the norm eg, he slept 10 minutes or did not eat xyz food today, Jess would make sure I knew as soon as I picked him up. Great communication. That is what you need. Too many horror stories of mum's online saying how their children have been left in nappies or hurt in the playground and not have it reported. On the one occasion where the doofus smacked his face into the table, I think it hurt Jess more than it hurt him to see the bruise on his face. Accidents happen. Being upfront about it shows great concern about the child's overall wellbeing and establishes that trust. It is also great to get personal communication from Jess in the form of SMS or email, updating on certain things. Book week. Dress ups. A birthday is coming up. That makes you feel connected to the educator and leaves you less of a just a number in the system, kinda feel. She also encourages all different types of celebrations and holidays. We live in a multicultural society, my child is also of two different cultures. I want him to be able to experience everything in the world and know about others, which Jess encourages. Childcares do not feel to same to me anymore. I look at those big centres and I don't have that same feeling as I do with Jess's. Even smaller family daycares have not resonated with me the way Jess did. She opened her home to us. Her family as a whole opened their hearts to us. You just don't get that same experience anywhere else.
