About Amica Early Learning Piara Waters

At Amica Piara Waters, care starts with the people, not the program. Before an educator ever works with your child, they've completed our staged induction: three days of shadowing, mentoring and hands-on training before they're placed in ratio, so by the time they're with your child, they're genuinely ready, not just rostered on.

That same intentionality shows up in the room itself. Spaces are designed with warm, natural tones and clear learning zones, resourced and set up with purpose, not filled with whatever's on hand. Our under-3s program follows RIE principles: primary caregiving, predictable routines and real respect for each child's pace, while older children move into a genuine school-readiness curriculum built around STEM, literacy, numeracy and cooking programs shaped by their own interests. We build real local partnerships too, with schools, sporting clubs and the wider Piara Waters community, because a centre should feel like part of the neighbourhood, not separate from it.

And underneath all of it is the thing the name is built on: Amica means friend, and that's the standard for how we treat every child and every family who walks through our door.

Come and see it for yourself, book a tour and meet the people who'll be part of your family's next few years.

Toured recently, and like so many centres in this area it was just underwhelming.

Our family has only recently started at Amica Early Learning, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From the very first day, the team has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They made the transition so smooth for both our child and us as parents, which means everything when you’re starting somewhere new.

The educators are attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. We’ve already noticed how comfortable and settled our child feels, and that gives us enormous peace of mind. The communication has also been fantastic — we feel informed and included every step of the way.

The centre itself is clean, well-organised, and creates such a positive, nurturing environment for learning and development. It’s obvious that a lot of care goes into everything they do.

We’re so grateful to have found Amica Early Learning and would highly recommend them to any family looking for a supportive and high-quality early learning centre.
