Little Bush Village have been a breath of fresh air since taking over the Paddington centre a couple of months ago. The team goes above and beyond to provide high-quality care, ensuring my girls are not only safe and well cared for, but also engaged in learning and inspired to explore. Both my 18 month old and four year old come home so happy, with plenty of stories to share about their adventures. The environment is beautiful, natural and calming, and the team has already transformed the centre so much. We couldn’t be happier!

Little Bush Village is a nature-inspired early learning centre where children are encouraged to slow down, explore, discover and grow.
Our philosophy is centred around children, with a strong focus on meaningful relationships, child-led learning and the freedom to learn through play. Our beautiful, home-like environments invite children to feel safe, connected and confident while exploring their interests at their own pace.
Nature is woven throughout our everyday experiences, from sensory and creative play to gardening, climbing, building and outdoor exploration. Our Bush Kindy approach encourages children to take healthy risks, develop resilience, build independence and connect with the natural world.
We also offer enriching experiences such as yoga, creative arts and our complimentary Nature Play Pop-Up Sessions, connecting Little Bush Village with families in our wider community.

At Little Bush Village, we offer Casual Days and flexible Casual Bookings to suit your needs. Casual hourly rate: $25 per hour for up to 5 hours. If you need care for more than 5 hours, our daily rate of $180 applies.

At Little Bush Village, we understand how important it is for families to find the right early learning community, one that feels like a true extension of home. We are proud to provide a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired every day.
Indoor and Outdoor Play
Children can move between indoor and outdoor play throughout the day. Outdoor play continues in most weather conditions, including light rain, as we believe rainy days can be just as fun and enriching. Please pack several sets of spare clothes and an extra jumper during the cooler months.
Artist in Residence
Our in-house Artist in Residence, Laura Crane, provides engaging creative experiences for children through both small and large group sessions.
Yoga for Kids
Daily in-house yoga sessions are offered across all age groups, supporting movement, balance, mindfulness and wellbeing.
Bush Kindy
Our brand new nature-based Bush Kindy playscape and program gives children opportunities to explore, learn and connect with the natural environment.
Veggie Patch
We nurture healthy bodies and minds through yoga, mindfulness, cooking and gardening. Our garden-to-table approach helps children learn about self-care, nutrition and the joy of fresh food. Children are encouraged to understand where food comes from, take part in simple cooking experiences and build positive habits from an early age.
Nature-rich Environment
Explore our nature-inspired learning environment and see how we support children to feel calm, capable, connected and confident. Our Bush Kindy philosophy weaves through every program, giving children time, space, and freedom to explore outdoors daily. They build cubbies, climb, garden, and observe seasonal changes — building resilience, independence, and a deep respect for the natural world.

Mealtimes are an important part of each day, providing opportunities for children to connect, develop independence, and enjoy nourishing food in a relaxed environment.

Our educators sit with children during meals, encouraging conversation, self-help skills, and positive eating habits. Babies are fed according to their individual routines, while older children enjoy shared mealtimes throughout the day.
Families provide a nutritious lunch each day, while Little Bush Village provides nourishing morning teas, healthy snacks, and afternoon teas from Carley Mendes & Luka McCabe‘s Milk to Meals & Toddler to Table series guide our recipes. We work closely with families to support allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural preferences.

Thank you to the incredible team at Little Bush Village for making my son’s transition into care such a happy and positive experience.<br><br>As a parent, there is something incredibly special about picking up your child and seeing them genuinely happy, engaged and excited about their day. It brings such a sense of peace knowing that they feel safe, connected and cared for, and that you have made the right choice for your child.<br><br>I have worked with children and families for decades, but becoming a parent has given me a whole new appreciation for that warm, fuzzy feeling families get when they see just how happy their little person is at the end of the day.<br><br>Thank you for being such an important part of my parenting journey and, most importantly, of my son’s childhood.<br><br>It truly does take a village. ❤️

Enrolled FamilyWe’ve recently started our 1 year old at Little Bush village and he has settled so incredibly well. The carers are so wonderful and kind, and the nature based play and learning has been so wonderful for him. We love that there is no plastic in site, all the toys are carefully selected and made from natural materials and the provide them with a very calm environment. He’s been loving the healthy and centre prepared morning and afternoon teas too.

We’ve been at the centre for all 3 children and are delighted with the new ownership and transformation! Every change is not only beautiful but purposeful. The staff are nurturing and engaging. Only positives to say, an important component to my daughter’s happiness and development.<br><br>Lizzie (owner) is a big presence at the centre. Her passion is clear from her approach to the design, operations and management of the centre, the high calibre of staff she employs, focus on ensuring staff are treated fairly and respectfully and most importantly she genuinely loves kids. The passion she has continues with each of the staff members and their approach to care, nurture and educate our kids. The centre is stunning - raw and natural materials with playful, considered landscaping in the works. Most importantly, my daughter (3 y.o) is keen to go to daycare in the morning, full of stories at dinner time. She’s regulated at pick up and her development has benefited from her care at LBV.
