Meet the team

Meet the team

At Edge Seacombe Heights, our leadership team are passionate about family values and respect for every child’s unique interests. We build strong, trusting relationships with children and families through open, consistent communication as we understand this is crucial for your child's successful learning journey.

"I've been at our centre since the day we opened in March 2025, starting as Assistant Director before stepping into this role. With five years in early childhood education and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, I'm here because I love watching a child's face light up when they achieve something new. Building strong, genuine partnerships with families is at the heart of how I run our centre, because when families feel valued and connected, children grow in security and confidence.

We're proud of our local roots, with close connections to Stella Maris Primary and Seaview High just across the road. I was also honoured to receive an Edge Excellence Award, recognition I share with our whole wonderful team. When you visit, I hope you'll feel right at home."

- Sadie, Centre Director

Safety

Edge Early Learning Seacombe Heights is unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that our centre provides a secure and nurturing environment where your child’s wellbeing is always our top priority.

 • Our dedicated team prioritises safeguarding children through daily practices, educational programs, and adherence to national child safety principles.

 • Our 3–5 years rooms benefit from a 1:9 ratio of educators to children (versus the regulated 1:11 ratio), meaning your child will receive an enhanced level of individualised care and supervision.
 • Our supervisory and senior staff complete regular Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting training.
 • We proudly work with Life Ed, Bravehearts and other similar child safety advocate organisations to strengthen the personal safety education within our programming.

We feel very comfortable following Tamie and Sadie to this centre. Our daughter was quite shy at first but has become much more confident and independent now. The educators are very nurturing and encouraging, creating a warm and supportive environment. Her teacher Navreet always takes time to communicate with us about her day, no matter how busy she is, which makes us feel very involved and reassured.

We couldn’t be happier with this daycare. The educators are caring, professional, and genuinely invested in the children’s development and wellbeing. It’s clear they create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where the kids are encouraged to learn, play, and build confidence.

Our children love attending each day, and it’s reassuring to know they’re in such capable hands. Communication with families is excellent, and the team always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel supported.

Couldn’t imagine a better centre for my daughter. Cannot fault the amazing staff, they are the most welcoming, brightest caring people. Always ready to adapt to my daughter’s needs, even if it’s just extra cuddles and book time while teething. Can’t speak highly enough of the amazing team here at Seacombe Heights

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this centre. From the beginning we felt comfortable and reassured our baby was in safe hands. She is nurtured and encouraged to learn on the daily. We receive our daily updates on what’s she’s doing and it looks like they are always doing fun and engaging activities to support their learning whilst being enjoyable. Whenever we drop her off she sees the educators and is happy to see them so seeing her comfortable and excited speaks volumes to the quality of care she is getting, not to mention setting us at ease. Could not recommend this centre more highly, special mention to Ana and Sukhpreet :)
