My daughter started at this centre at the end of January, and unfortunately I am already in the process of moving her to a new childcare due to several concerns. I was given negative feedback regarding this centre from my close friend and her cousin but I didn't want it to affect my experience and really wanted to give them a chance. Firstly, I want to acknowledge Adana and Sinem, were always kind and welcoming. However, my negative experience is mainly due to the management, particularly Claudia, whose communication has been consistently rude and dismissive. I consider myself a very easy‑going, understanding first‑time mum, and I rarely raise concerns. However, one day I found another child’s dummy in my daughter’s bag. I simply called to get more information and to understand what had happened. Instead of being reassured or given clarity, I was spoken to as though I was “making a big deal” out of nothing. I was told “it’s childcare, these things happen,” which I found extremely unprofessional. When management checked the room camera, they told me they couldn’t see my daughter properly because the footage was too dark and unclear. This was alarming!! It suggested my daughter wasn’t properly visible while sleeping and not adequately supervised. As a parent, that’s the bare minimum I expect. During the call, the line cut out, and no one called me back. I was later told they had “too many calls coming through,” which only added to my frustration and loss of trust. When I brought my daughter back the following week to give the centre another chance, Sinem greeted us warmly, but Claudia didn't acknowledge me both when I arrived and when I left. No one followed up with a call, no one checked in, and no one attempted to resolve the situation or even discuss it with me. Overall, the impression I’ve been left with is that the centre is extremely welcoming during enrolment, but once you are enrolled, the level of care and professionalism from management drops significantly. As a first‑time mum, leaving my baby is already hard, and this experience has made me feel even more anxious instead of supported. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this childcare based on the management’s lack of communication, accountability, and respect.

My twin boys have been attending BEL since they were 16 months and are now completing their final year in 4 year old kinder. We have formed wonderful relationships with educators and other BEL families. The care and dedication given to each child whilst in care makes us very happy. Thank you BEL for being my village !

We have had the most amazing experience at BEL, both my kids have been here since babies and we are so happy with how the educators treat my kids and us like family! We love BEL and the team and appreciate everything they have done for my babies!

We’ve had such a beautiful experience at BEL. My youngest has just graduated and we couldn’t be happier with our time at this centre. The educators are warm, caring and genuinely invested their time into the children. Highly recommend if you are looking for a family-like childcare.

Barrymore Early Learning has been such a big part of our family and we absolutely love Claudia, Adana and the wider team. Very sad that this will be our last year here, but the memories have been amazing!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Barrymore early learning. My son attended for two years and during that time he excelled dramatically, both academically and personally. The educators are caring, patient and genuinely invested in each child’s development. The environment is warm, supportive and well-structured, which gave my son the confidence to grow, learn and thrive. We are so grateful for the positive foundation they’ve given him and highly recommend this kindergarten to any family. The educators will be dearly missed and I will continue to send my future children to this incredible community, thank you Shari for being my sons favourite teacher and leading by example with your support and caring nature.

Lucy loves going to BEL. She only goes a day or 2 at the moment She often asks “am I going to school today ? & is not happy when the answer is no 🤪 Thank you to her teachers for looking after her Chefs for yummy food s & classmates for making her day s .

My son recently joined the baby’s room at BEL, and from day one, the staff have been incredibly friendly and caring with his first time in Childcare to make him feel loved, safe and comfortable with the new faces. It’s evident how much BEL values each child’s happiness and well-being. The manager, despite her busy schedule, takes the time every morning to greet him with a smile, offering cuddles and care that make the transition away from mummy so much easier. The team openly shares both his good and challenging moments, which allows us to support his adaptation together. Thank you, BEL, for your amazing teamwork! I truly appreciate how you remember his name, offer so many smiles, singing and cuddles, and honor his individual preferences.
